  1. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release.
  2. Before we proceed, have you tested this on a default unaltered theme?
  3. Please see the following, which I believe may be what you are facing here. https://invisioncommunity.com/news/invision-community/new-feature-a-friendly-reminder-before-posting-r1249/?tab=comments#comment-228962 Its not really meant to stop bots, but to encourage better posting
  4. Glad to hear you found a resolution to the problem there
  5. Sorry, Im not sure what you mean here. You can select groups of people to reset the password of if you have a criteria for them, if that is what you are asking?
  6. Could you let me know who that user is? Also is they are viewing as a guest, make sure they arent in incognito or similar
  7. ^ exactly this
  8. Yes, that would indeed be what is causing the problem, and will take some time to catch up
  9. Yes, that is correct
  10. Glad to hear you found the cause there, and hope you manage to get a solution to the coding issue you have there 🙂
  11. Your issue is showing at the top of the admin CP. Your tasks are not running, and the cron you have set up needs to be corrected (either by yourself or your hosting company)
  12. You can use any email, as long as its what is added to the support area. I would advise if you are unsure on how to provide FTP access, you gain the assistance of a server administrator to assist you. It really would be a minimum knowledge requirement if you are hosting the site yourself
  13. If they are, we would need to look further into this for you, however the access details on file appear to be incorrect or missing. Could you please update these details by visiting your client area, selecting the relevant purchase, then clicking "Review/Update Access Information" under the "Stored Access Information" section. We look forward to further assisting you.
  14. Yes, there has been a lot of spam from Russian accounts over the past few days, unfortunately.
  15. You do appear to have patches awaiting. Please go to Support in the top right of your admin CP, and you will see "Optional patch" under the version number
  16. No. What you would do is move the site to the new machine (database and files, even if its not working because of PHP 8), then upload new files and run the upgrader
  17. I'm sure, yes. It checks the files to see if there is an upgrade present. In your case it doesnt find updated files. There really isnt anything more to it
  18. The forum will continue to work in its current state. You simply lose access to all IPS services, including updates, the IPS spam service, support etc. I would point out, it would be worth ensuring the customisations are updated, and if needed move to a server that supports PHP 8. By running PHP 7, you are actually running a site that could potentially be compromised, as PHP 7 is no longer supported by PHP themselves for security fixes.
  19. Before we configure, could you please confirm you have run any patches showing in the support area of your admin CP? I ask as there was a patch released for a date issue with calendar items only yesterday
  20. This is the part you need to check. If you have it saying no applications to upgrade, and you are not already on the latest release, you havent uploaded those to the correct place or that upload failed.
  21. Just looking at the first one there, that topic is not yet archived. As my colleague pointed out there, its archiving in the background, so you will not see everything archive instantly. It will happen very gradually over time The topics that are archived actually say archived on them when viewed
  22. I am unable to replicate this on my own instance here. Could you please confirm this is a new topic you have created after the upgrade? If so, I will need a link to that topic
  23. Please could you confirm exactly what process you went through? Did you manually upload, or use the auto upgrader?
  24. We do have our own theme here, but there is nothing specific to the size of the images there. As mentioned, we have a sidebar and descriptions on ours
  25. There is nothing built in that would allow you to do this. Its something you would need a developer to achieve
