you can add any widget like you would do on any other page, this is a proper application not a template or anything like that so all IPS widgets can be added
you would just install it like any other app, it won't be the landing page by default you need to go to your app listing and set that as the default app then when you visit the homepage it'll be that application which is the landing page
you could create a announcement what only members can view then set it to show only on the landing page

2 More blocks ( so far ) for the next update

Subscriptions will allow you to select what subscriptions to show ( you can show as many as you want ) the blank bit is because I have not uploaded a image to it ( just like the actual subscription page it self )
Pure Editor is exactly what it sounds like... Just the editor, This will allow you to add anything you wanted in there, If you have set your admin permissions to allow HTML posting it will be even better for you, I'll probably add some blocks for like the downloads and gallery uploads as well as commerce items etc

So this section in SES for email:

and under your sending email you verified you have the correct SNS topics for HTTPS/endpoint like:

Now originally, I did enable email feedback forwarding also to make sure they are going out. But then I disabled it. If it goes out via email, it should also go out to the endpoint in SNS. then I was checking the bounce table in the database to confirm.
Your topic in Amazon SES, you have the full endpoint confirmed? One topic for bounce and one for complaints?

Can't really think of anything else, its pretty straightforward.

No, I don’t use an email protocol. You don’t need that for this app. Try deleting those. Are you using email with some other notification because email feedback forwarding from SES will send you an email on each instance if you need that. You don’t need to set up an email protocol in SNS for this app, only https, unless you need that for some reason.

So if you send an email from that email address (same as what is used by IPS) to a bad email, you get an email notification that it bounced but NOT an entry into the database via the endpoint, correct? With email feedback forwarding on, If you get an email saying something bounced, then SES is sending and now you just need to figure out why it’s not going to the topic and then to the endpoint.
That’s all I can think of, I’m really not sure why it’s not working for you. It works for me.

There really should be a setting for a resend attempt to clear out the log. One by one clicking is insanity.

I agree, this is what I'm using. IPS seems to have a good amount of framework around Redis which seems to be the preferred caching method.

Would be great to have an option for using Amazon SES API like sendgrid or when sparkpost was available. I’m using Amazon SES over SMTP, but I believe using their API would be better.

This corrected the background but I also have something with text resizing, where its smaller. Probably using something from my theme as well in RTE.

Have you tried it with the theme where background color is different from white? Make it dark:

I assume you cannot see the issue because your background is very light.

Just purchased I am getting this same issue in rich text editor
si tu ne mettais pas tes doigts sur une partie de ce qui reste ça aiderait... quel serait le diamètre, environ, si elle était complète ? elle a l'air bien épaisse, je vois un M bien propre mais ça ne suffit pas.

Is there a fix for this?

I wanted to post an updated on my custom posts sitemap, as there are various opinions here about whether or not it can help or hurt an IPS site. In my case I have nearly 1M posts, and none of their URL's were in the sitemap directly. Now, it appears that google has indeed indexed nearly all of them, and I do not see any issue regarding the canonical links for them on the forum category pages. Currently I see zero errors, and now only 71.5K are excluded, and zero are listed in the "Duplicate, submitted URL not selected as canonical" line.
Also, my site traffic has been slowly recovering...in the last 30 days I've seen a 17% increase over the prior 30 days. So far I have seen nothing negative about using it, and I've been running it for 6 months now. During the time I've been running it I've seen slow and steady improvement in my page rank, and more importantly, the number of key words in google's index for my site has increased dramatically (it hit an all-time low around 6 months ago--coincidence?).

PS - The forum's category pages, beyond the initial category page, are also not in the sitemap in both the forums and pages apps, and we've also created site maps to include all pages, for example /page/2/, /page/3/, /page/4/.

To be honest, I'm a little disappointed that only one person contacted me for access to test SNS integration. I'd have liked to test it and tweak it more, but that's not possible without any feedback.
The main code behind the app is getting some major changes at the moment which, but I think I may just end up releasing a minor update with the SNS code in it, it'll be exactly the same as what you could have had on request. You'd need to figure out how to make SNS/SES work though, that's not something I can help you with.

    Try something like:
    body[data-pagelocation="front"][data-pageapp="downloads"][data-pagemodule="downloads"][data-pagecontroller="view"] .ipsType_richText > p:last-child { font-weight: bold; font-size: larger; }

@Matt anymore thought to this on if it can be added or not? Would be nice to hide sidebar elements in fluid forum view for instance, that stretch out the page but are needed in traditional view.

I finally seem to have it working on my end. User error by me in terms of setting up notifications in SNS, but I can verify that SES is working and bounces are getting processed. I had to read up on how SES/SNS works. My suggestion to anyone using this in the future when its released, is to set up bounce and complaint SNS to an email notification and verify that it is sending via email/working. Then create a subscription to the app endpoint provided. Thank you @stoo2000!

When you create a new subscription in SNS, use https or http if you are not SSL

With the bouncer app, you'll be provided with a url to the bouncer app. This is the endpoint, the actual url that processes the bounced message.

I think there may be some using SES that may need support if they can't get SES/SNS working. Support for that is with Amazon, not this app dev. Sparkpost/Sendgrid you plug in an API and that's it. With SES you need to set up your sending methods and then learn how to set up SNS. This is why I mention creating notifications to an email address so you can verify you have that working. Then use the app.
For anyone planing to use this app with SES, that would be my one big suggestion... get Amazon SNS working now to your email address. Learn how to create topics and subscribe to them. Read up with Amazon SES/SNS. Its not difficult. Once you have it working and you are receiving Bounce/Complaint notifications to your email, you'll know that notifications are working from Amazon SES/SNS. You will then basically switch your subscription method from email to an https (endpoint url for your site that will receive these notifications within this bouncer app).
If you are using SES now, set up and test email notifications with SNS by each sending email address, not domain name. My main issue why I could not get this working was because I set up SNS to my domain name instead of the sending email addresses. I just figured that out today after messing with Amazon on and off this week. I had thought it was "catch-all" by domain name until I read online each email address has to be subscribed to a topic to send out notifications.
