I'd be interested in that as well, internal automation. Pricing can get up there depending on how many tasks and zaps. You can do 100 tasks a month for free.

We already use Zapier. Awesome to see an integration for it on the next release!

What happens to the sidebar advertisement position? Is it above this fixed block? What happens to the advertisement under the first post position if you use the slimmer option?

Also, how does it interact with the advertisement position after the first post? Before or after? That position is a high value position for an ad.

In the horizontal slim mode, the ad displays above the summary box. In sidebar mode, the ad will under the summary box but above any other widgets.
Note this is all easily themeable though, you can move the includes around if something else would work better for your site.

I'd prefer to show it at the top and/or at the bottom of the page, right after the data-widgetarea="header" or before the data-widgetarea="footer". Please consider these options too.

Make a notification when a members' post is chosen as a best answer or gets an upvote.
When a member wins a 1-3 place on leaderboard.
 

It is a custom plugin that extends default RSS output. The plugin adds enclosure-tag to RSS output. If it is a database record, gallery image or post with image, it uses the embedded image. In case there no image can be found for the item, it looks in the media folder we have created via ACP. The folder contains about 100 random images. So the plugin picks randomly one of the images and add it to enclosure tag. No magic 

We already use a semi-automatic solution to add random images to RSS output items, that do not have any image. Right now we have saved about 100 images that match the general subject of the project like "gardening". When RSS output is created AND no image can be provided for the item, then a random image from those 100 is picked. If there were a possibility to combine this feature with improved RSS we could replace our "rich RSS" plugin entirely.  

This looks great! I really like automatic promotions to other user groups based on things such as content and now referrals but if you run subscriptions to pay your way to get to that usergroup, I really wish they worked together something like...

Totally waste of time creating this feature. IPS time could've been spent creating more useful features than this👎

I have actually seen an uptick in interest in RSS from our corporate clients lately. Things tend to come and go in phases.

I am very happy. We have written extended RSS for our needs that includes images and it seems that we can abandon it soon in favour of core functionality. Just perfect.
By the way, RSS is NOT dead. It's a magic way to get more traffic on your site, if you know how  Both ways: import other RSS channels into your project and export your own.
