What about if some just wants to do a refresh and start again? There will always be pros and cons and there will always be those who will provide an answer that is not necessarily something that others are prepared to carry out or have the ability to do so, for whatever reason. The point here is that you have purchased something from a third party that is now conditional on having an active IPS license if you want to use it again That is the point, there is no reason to deny downloading as well as using the Marketplace in the ACP - this is not an 'instead of' but an 'as well as'. That's severe and a little over the top, but I do understand the sentiment lol.

Having the marketplace inside of the application in the ACP is a good idea, but - access to the marketplace is governed by having a current license renewal in place. This means that if a license has expired and the user does not wish to renew at this point in time (for whatever reasons), if their site has a catastrophic failure and they need to reinstall from scratch, the applications they have purchase which need to be reinstalled, what happens to them? Will they be available in the ACP or will they need to renew their license before they can access what they have paid for? I believe that the option to install from the ACP should be retained as it's helpful, but the option to download what you have paid for should also be made available. After all, it is we the users who have paid for this app or plugin. Thoughts?

There is an addon in the marketplace that 'may' be what you're looking for: Not sure if it's what you want or need, but give it a once over and see if it fits your needs 🙂

My bad, I didn't see the highlighted oblongs in your first post on the images. Looking in the CSS these appear under the term authorBadge: .ipsComment .ipsComment_authorBadge { --badge--color: rgb( var(--theme-mentions) ); } If you notice in Matt's clip his group name is the same as the author Badge, so perhaps they are connected somehow 🙂

I believe these are group settings and you can add an icon for each group. Go to ACP/Members/Groups and add your badge or icon: You can also use ranks to add badges based on various criteria that you choose: ACP/Members/Ranks and add your badges there. Hope that helps 🙂

I had a similar issue and going to URL/admin/upgrade did nothing at all; the error stayed in place. I'm self-hosted so I just downloaded the package from the client area uploaded all files to server and then went to URL/admin/upgrade and it worked.

I notice that a theme I'm using was updated a few hours ago in the marketplace fixing some issues yet when I open the marketplace in the ACP and click on the updated file, I get this: I've run the support tool and it says everything is in the green - I've run the applications check for updates but still no mention of this updated theme. I can't download it because I'm told to do this through the ACP. It would be helpful if there was a 'check for installed updates' button so updates are recognised. Any help would be appreciated. Hi @aXen | 1s2k love the theme but having a little issue with the navigation icons. Everything works great and I can change the values in the ACP but, when I have two menu items using the same app I can't isolate the individual icons for each menu item: Home and articles both use the same app (Pages) so applying an icon to pages shows the same icon in both places. I'd prefer to have different icons. Same with the Movie Discussions and General Chat, both use the forums app but I'd like to show different icons for each. Is this possible by turning off the icons in the ACP and replacing with CSS code that can go into the custom.css file? With thanks

When you go to manage purchases there are lots of incredibly old items going back years (in my case 2012) many of which are no longer available. Can you add a means for users to remove these purchases? It can become difficult to navigate those items that are still of interest when the list goes on and on. With thanks

I had links to moderated, that could be it. Have changed the setting to allow and will monitor what happens. Thanks for giving me a nudge in, hopefully, the right direction 🙂

I'm using 4.5 beta ten and there is a mystery surrounding moderation of content. I have a member, in the members group, and some of the content submitted is being moderated even though no moderation settings have been applied. These are the content settings in the members group: There are no moderation restrictions being applied in any area of the site, yet 'some' content is being moderated. Any ideas anyone?

It does, but (there's always a but) it kills my topic images and reverts to the default listing. Expanded view (which is what I would like to see): But it kills the topic image which is what I would like to preserve: So, what is viewed in the first image that can be transferred to the second image without killing the topic image would be fantastic.

Thanks for explaining - I knew that these were folders for uploads, just wasn't sure why one was created for each month but now that I can see the number of files, if lots of uploads were being done, could overwhelm the ability for the folder to open; I can see the logic in it now 🙂

Yeah, I know this, but it seems strange that a new folder is created each month and the number of folders will grow exponentially over time.

I've noticed that each month a new folder is created on the server - is it safe to delete these older folders (arrowed) or are they needed? I ask this as there will be a lot of folders created over the coming months - unless they are self-deleting. Advice please 🙂
