    Happy Hump Day, fam!
Been receiving a lot of messages about 4.6 and Achievements. We're near the finish line (I know that's annoying to hear but we're close!).
Why the wait? We absorbed a ton of useful feedback from you and are implementing it 👏 Achievements is turning out even more epic than what we launched here a few weeks ago 😭. It'll be worth the wait (again, annoying I know, but sit tight).
Our talented team of Code Yodas™ (aka our developers) implemented some cool additions that'll make their red carpet debut in 4.6. 📸
The ones we're highlighting today are the improved appearance of Notifications Settings and Top Files reporting in the ACP. Shout-out to YouTube Short URLs being fixed as well.

    Improved appearance of Notifications Settings
You'll notice we're adding more flexibility to control what kinds of notifications show, and incorporating them with the Push notifications feature. 😍 . Thanks to @Rikki for hooking up the screen shot preview!

Most Downloaded files statistics in the ACP
And for the data junkies, we've also added statistics for the most downloaded files in the ACP. Shout-out to @Matt Finger for this implementation!

Our full list of changes made in the last week:
    - Fixed an issue where changing table filters could cause the table to be stuck in loading state due to an underlying error.
    - Fixed an issue where Stripe webhook events may fail in some circumstances.
    - Account settings will no longer prompt for re-authentication if the account does not have a way of re-authenticating. Applies mostly to custom SSO integrations.
    - Fixed an issue where Youtube Shorts URLs would not embed.
    - Fixed an issue where API requests may cause an error if referencing transactions from deleted members.
    - Improved the appearance of the Notification Settings screen.
    - Added support for converting Markdown formatted posts in Vanilla.
    - Fixed some issues when converting from Vanilla and your files used to be in S3.
    - Added statistics pertaining to the most downloaded files

Lots of exciting things going on here. What's your favorite from the list? Sound off in the comments - we'd love to hear from you!

I'll regret this, but not much...plugin attached (xml file) and it will add a toggle to the comment form when reading a topic.
I'm off now to go wash the sugar taste out of my mouth.
Note: no support is provided for this plugin, as it is a 'proof of concept' for an application which is now available in the MarketPlace.

WOWWWWW! You came through out of the kindness (😏) of your heart. This is awesome 😭
I enabled the plugin and changed the settings up a little. Really appreciate you making this @Nathan Explosion. I am curious to hear what my community will think of it.
I know there's a big debate about this option, however I like that it's up to the community leader to leave it up to them whether it's integrated or not.
This is part of several Kindness plugin ideas I have.
Thank you again! I'll circle back with feedback soon. ❤️

I can confirm the template is placed in a wrong folder, hence the error.  Below you can see the Calendar block in Forums index as a widget:

We always have a long internal list. Right now we want to review our new cache rules. They will greatly improve performance but, if not done right, could cause lots of odd behaviors. There is also going to be a bulletin going out to all AdminCPs soon to remind people about features deprecated in 4.5 that will actually be removed in 4.6. We announced those over a year ago but just need to remind people.
But right now the big thing is refining Achievements. Since this is only the second site that has any real content using it, we are working on both bug fixes and general improvements. That is coming together nicely now.

I want to take the opportunity to thank the development team here at Invision.  I know bug fixing is not always exciting. But the actual test of any development team is taking the challenge head-on, striving to better a product before a release. Thank you for all the hard work you are putting in, and thank you for your time, consideration, and patience. 🤩
I also want to thank everyone here, yes, YOU too (reader), who helped test the latest release here on Invision's support site and submitted a detailed bug report.  You, too, are part of the process, and your diligence in paying close attention to detail while taking the time to point out what you noticed, really can and does make a difference.  Thank you for your time, consideration, and patience. 😎
I am excitingly looking forward to the first alpha or beta I can download, install, and test. 🙂

    HAPPY Hump Day!
A lot has gone down in the last week or two. In case you need a little refresher, we recently soft-launched Achievements. It'll be available for all in the coming weeks, but for now you can get a taste of it here in our own community.
The response has been insanely epic 👏
The feedback even more so 🤯
I personally took notes of all the feedback provided. We've already started implementing some key changes (shout-out to our super talented development team!! Show them some love in the comments), including:
Explanation for how you earned a badge Current position / max number of ranks shown so you know how far you have to go Added tooltips on rank badges Added lazy loading Optimized rebuild routine Fixed a bunch of bugs I know that only scratches the surface, but keep in mind we'll continue better Achievements over time! 🤠
Lots to absorb here. Now that you've had some time to digest Achievements, how are you feeling about it? Sound off in the replies below! 🥳
PS - here's a short-list of some of the 4.6 fixes we worked on in the last week:

    - Added a confirmation pop-up when mass approving account withdrawals.
    - Added an option to limit Withdrawal requests to one per currency at any time.
    - Fixed an issue where the AdminCP livesearch results link to categories instead of blogs.
    - Removed Aggregate rating from JSON-LD structured data
    - Worked around a bug in MySQL when viewing statistics in the AdminCP.

I decided to separate reactions from the apps settings:

Before it was supporting reactions only in Forums, Downloads and Gallery.
From now on, you will be able to choose the apps and their content (main item, comment and reviews) to give/remove points when you react/unreact to the content.
All apps will be supported from now on, automatically.

Kellen Deming reacted to Jordan Miller in Introducing Invision Community's new developer Matt F!
Hey team, I’d love for you to give a warm welcome to Invision Community’s new developer, @Matt Finger
You want some sweet sweet Achievements addons? Then be extra nice to him 😉
So you can get to know Matt F better, I held a mini-interview with the 20-year-old developing prodigy. I said what I said.
When he’s not coding, he’s cooking, fixing things (like cars, bikes, electronics, etc) and reading up on science, physics and philosophy.
After asking him about his hobbies, I cut to the chase and asked him about his passion for coding and a few of his past experiences with it. He flexed his knowledge of philosophy right away.

    🤯🤯🤯

He continued: “That being said, we're faced with the question of, 'how to improve upon one's ability to reason?' We improve upon our ability to reason the same way we can get better at most things: do it over and over again while challenging yourself more and more each time. And in the case of our ability to reason, problem solving and solution finding is, in my experience, the best way to challenge our ability to reason, therefore making it most conducive to increasing said ability to reason, in turn allowing ourselves to achieve our true potential. And software development persistently presents new problems to solve and solutions to find a great way to flex our brains and get better at reasoning.”
“So to sum up, to me, developing is more than writing code, it's more than solving problems. It's a way to achieve my true potential as a human being.”
    “Plus it's fun.”
Welcome to the fam, Matt F!
Please drop a line in the comments and spread the good vibes 😎

Now I know what you’re already thinking!!

Now bear with me a little to explain.
I want a sort of moderation forum (instead of PMs and warnings) to notify members of issues. Not all of my moderation actions require penalization and well.... it’s double the work for a moderator to PM someone and then notify the rest of the staff that they did it. And what if two people jumped on it? It can become a nightmare.
I would personally love it both on the forums and pages level to where you can basically assign a topic as someone(‘s) and only those that it’s assigned to can see it in that category/forum/etc. it would cut down on double moderation in some places and allows for a conversation when it’s not a penalized action. “Hey you didn’t follow the rules for submission for this section, please review” is not a “warning level” action but it is an actionable item for a moderator who then must bring it into a private (unseen) venue to discuss and conclude it.
What this invite forum/category would allow for is, a way to communicate with more than one person regarding a sensitive topic in a means that all moderation staff could see it.
Think of it kind of like a moderation category.
This leads into another idea but I’ll post it separately.

I’ve complained before that wiki editing shouldn’t have an original author, or owner, at all. While the authors/editors should be in the editing history the listing itself should never truly have a single author.

It should be possible, especially in pages, to set multiple owners. You see this behavior on major websites such as Microsoft where the people that have contributed/have ownership of the listing are listed as “contributors”. I would like to empower my users to allow secondary editors to some of the contributions so those people also have the ability to edit their content. Sort of like adding a moderator to a forum, do it at the listing level in pages.

Is there a way to embed the Google Forms form inside a forum topic?
Or is there a plugin that creates forms to be filled out inside the topic and only administrators receive the answer? 🤔

Ahh another addition of Hump Day! A lot has changed since last week's HD. 🤠
In case you've been living under a very large rock, Invision Community announced/launched our latest feature: Achievements!
Read our Blog Post about it here.
This also means that this community is officially on our latest update: 4.6.
This update will be available to you all in the coming weeks!
In the comments of the announcement blog post, @Matt posted some additional visuals for you to digest. I'm going to include them here as well!

One other thing we haven't spoken about is that you can allow your moderators to deduct points from a user when they are warned.

Kellen Deming reacted to Adriano Faria in Resources from the TheJackal84 (https://flashmodding.com/)
As some of you may already know, I'm supporting  @TheJackal84's file since March, 19. We started to talk about this deal on Feb, 21. So in this regard, I would like to state publicity that I am not getting the expected return/attention from TheJackal84, which has not:
given me the list of purchasers of the resources in his website. So what it has to do you with you? I'm not able to add a purchase here on IPS so you can keep downloading updates, if you purchased it there. Why I can't? Because I can't simply trust in words from everyone that requests files. I need to make sure you purchased and when they will expire. Just checked his website and his community doesn't exists anymore: https://flashmodding.com/. If it was there yet you would just need to take a screenshot from the Manage Purchases page. So you can still prove your purchase by sending a PM with the PayPal purchase, etc. In sign of good faith, I will add a full year of support to the proven resources, without take the renewal date in consideration. provided the XML from the plugins, which we can't download from the new marketplace (4.5), so there's no way for me to support these resources now. I will try to get them with IPS (I will speak directly to Lindy). I would also like to inform you that there are other pending issues that are not relevant for this matter but they definitely exists.
    Thank you.

You will need to customize your theme CSS to make your navigation bar sticky. There is not an out of the box setting.
Someone recently claimed this worked for them:
Your screenshot seems to show a custom theme though, so you might want to check with your theme provider. Some have this as a feature in the theme settings.
I would love for this to be an out of the box setting. It's particularly useful from a moderation workflow standpoint.
