So, the Ignore feature is extremely lacking in all of what should probably be essential functionality. Currently, by default, you can only ignore someone's: Forum Posts, Messages, Signatures, and Mentions. While that's great and all, it's an extremely simplistic view of an Ignore/Block function. All major platforms (Facebook, Twitter, etc) have a way to Block and/or Ignore a user account. This hides all of that user's comments and contents and/or blocks them from viewing your content and profile. This is a major oversight in functionality that's missing in the IPS software. Not to mention that the Ignore function misses almost all of the other IPS default applications (Pages, Blogs, Gallery, Downloads, Calendar, Statuses, etc). The entire Ignore function feels like it was just slapped on to solve a singular issue (Forums) and never touched again. What an Ignore / Block function should be able to do:
Ignore all or some of a user's content. Block a user from contacting you (Blocking messages and mentions). Blocking a user from your profile and content. Most users prefer Ease of Use with this. If you're blocking someone, you (usually) have a good reason to. The current ignore feature on IPS is basically bare-bones and doesn't really do a great job at what it does. It can definitely be better, and hopefully this can start that.

No, since 1.0.0. It happens only when different users are following same person. Working a fix right now.

That would essentially delete your blog entries. Sonya provided the correct code to check for entries. But that has nothing to do with your internal counter.
I would always start with IPS’ block template and modify it step by step, instead of taking code from somewhere else that probably doesn’t work in a block. I see other problems too, like that $pagination variable, which should also fail in a block.

This {{if \count($entries)}}  returns NULL or 0. Try this:
{{if !empty( $entries ) }} I have difficulties with count in the template. The variables seem to be not numeric (countable) so that count does not always work.

Yeah, I'm fully in agreement too. Especially with topics.
We have had a number of instances where users have found other users so disagreeable that they have felt the need to completely block someone - rather than cause admins hassle. This is responsible of the user but at the present time they find that the ignore feature simply doesn't allow them to ignore the other person - which is what users are expecting will happen when they click to ignore the user's posts. They don't expect to see their topics coming up in the main forum view either.
I can't see how it would be a bad addition - and to be fair I am really surprised that there isn't a hook in the marketplace because in my view it's a feature that is severely lacking from the forum software - and IPB's competitors allow users to ignore fully.

I know not everyone will have so many Clubs they will require categories. Still some of us would find it useful to be able to categorize our Clubs.

Before someone suggest making a custom page using Pages. I would say then could we atleast have tags added to Clubs then?

I keep checking this site for a blog post that describes first class support for video attachments in 4.5...
I hope 4.5 does indeed add much better support for uploading and attaching videos to posts.
Video hosting is very easy these days with cheap video streaming services like Cloudflare Stream.

In addition to video hosting, I hope 4.5 comes with a better uploader for videos. The current uploader is miserable for uploading large files like videos. Fortunately, there is a very good open source uploader called Uppy that handles uploading both large and small files (and was created especially for uploading videos).

Finally, Cloudflare Stream requires tus to upload videos to Cloudflare and Uppy was created by the same company that created the tus protocol.

Well drat. It was a perfect replacement (thankfully I hadn't started moving files over, was waiting to get Cloudflare setup), until I noticed in their ToS that they don't allow:
"(A) any information that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortuous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous or racially or ethnically objectionable, or promotes such activity"
I'm waiting for a reply from them to see what exactly is meant by vulgar and/or obscene, since we do have what could be considered adult illustrations. This does make me wonder now if there are other decent s3 replacements?
