  1. Most hosts will have a tool to auto-backup.
  2. Clear your site cache. Support > Something isn’t working correctly
  3. Yeah. Just take the one I posted in my previous post to start and just start editing in there. ONLY use the custom.css for changes from here forward.
  4. Your theme is a mess and the person that made these edits made them in the WRONG places. I would personally recommend you create a new theme (fresh no changes). Use the edit theme to change the base colors and then ask how to change the other things after that. The person that did this theme originally edited framework.css which is a BIG no, no and will cause you nothing but grief as you upgrade. The theme itself wouldn't be hard to replicate and get working to what it looks like now. It seems to be primarily default with a ton of color edits and some added images. That's my true recommendation. However if you just want to fix it issue by issue and not resolve your core issue this is how you fix your current one: .ipsBreadcrumb, .ipsList_inline, .ipsList_reset, .cSignedIn, #elUserNav, .ipsList_inline, .ipsList_reset, .cSignedIn { background: transparent; background-color: transparent; background-image: none; }
  5. I think they were designed by @Rikki maybe he could give you the base.
  6. You can replace/add as many as you want and those are the ones IPS has been using for a long time. Search for "Reactions" in your ACP and you'll find where you can add/replace/delete them. These are mine for example.
  7. Your post made me laugh pretty hard: https://www.similartech.com/compare/invision-power-board-vs-xenforo While I appreciate that you disagree with how the marketplace has changed IPS isn't going anywhere and just to spite you I think my goal this year will be to buy 1-2 more IPS licenses for my hobby projects.
  8. That's totally fair. I was just curious, I figure some people prefer that they have their stuff in their native language so translating everything is better for them overall. Your reasoning is equally as fair. Biggest thing is to avoid anything that says "ACP" in it. that will eliminate 20 pages for you to translate.
  9. I'll be honest, why would you want to only translate the front end? If your site is in one language why would you be more comfortable to reading the ACP in English? The only time English is required is when you have an IPS staff member looking in your ACP for a problem and as long as you haven't removed the English Language pack, its easy enough to enable it and allow the IPS staff member to use it and disable it when they are done.
  10. Guests "browsing" is not likely if your site is offline. If an IP hits the site it will log it as "browsing". If I knew where your dev build was I could load the front page and be marked as a guest and as browsing even though all I'm seeing is an access denied or login page. This is just IPS saying that it see's someone actively touched your site within the last X minutes.
  11. Edit your language pack. Search for "Guidelines" and change the terms there.
  12. For the sidebar to show you must have a block in the sidebar last I checked. There is an option to "Force sidebar" Its in "Advertisement settings" button in the top right of that screen.
  13. 500 errors are server side errors. What does your error log say?
  14. If you don't see Pages its not installed or not enabled.
  15. I don't know what IPE is. IPS? No. But Cloudflare caches stuff. It could be the cache hasn't picked it up yet. It could also be the IPS cache. It might be good to clear IPS cache then the Cloudflare cache and see if it fixes the issue.
  16. It probably is cloudflare but I wouldn't know for sure. It could also be just one of those "days" with widgetbot.io. They tend to have some issues sometimes. Did you verify that you can see the code and its not altered in the source code?
  17. I don't know if there is a status thing for it but NO they do not have their own section. They are just made accessible but no longer active basically.
  18. This suggestion is not for end user sites but specifically for THIS SITE. You can manually add or change reactions on your own sites if you want more.
  19. That's a lot of steps to do on mobile. Click "share" Copy link Go to browser Open a new tab. Paste link and wait for it to load Copy URL again Go to IPS site that you want it to be embedded on. Paste new URL. The fun part is the above steps don't work on mobile because you get a mobile link like: https://m.tiktok.com/v/6911023856178285829.html?_d=dkfgjhdkl;gu lkdfhjg lkdfhglkhsdfkjh So basically its impossible to embed tiktok on mobile at the moment which does make it rather useless in its current form since the app is the primary way people view tiktok.
  20. This is because there are a lot of opinion based threads here. I don't think "Like" is a good reaction when you want to agree or support what has been said in a thread but currently the only agreeable reaction. Like is a broad (and at least for me) a very default way for people to respond/react to something that they simply think was a good read. In some cases I would like to actually agree with what the member is saying or support it with a +1. To me agreeing versus liking something will give me a better way to show my appreciation to a members post. An example a cute joke in the middle of an opinion thread would get a like or a 'haha' but something that brings up good points can get my 'agree'.
  21. Lets be really real.... they institute those terms and they are enforced. There isn't some magic check mark to say "I'm being responsible". You agree to be responsible by posting content. What you are requesting is that you accept the terms of service every time you post which NO PERSON wants to do. Congrats on being google certified.... but that means very little anymore as google adds ads whenever they want. So originally, @breatheheavy you said that this was to enhance your community and reduce negative comments but now you're stating this is to not get demonetized. Which is it? While you can do both it makes your target different.
  22. This isn't the right forum for that. This is for suggestions and feedback for the core platform. You may think "clicking a heart" before posting will not be a hassle but in UX design you want to make everything the FEWEST clicks possible. Adding clicks is a hassle and is difficult and is not good UI. Client lounge or General Chit Chat is better for something like this.
