  2. If the mail is deleted entirely from bulkmail, there isnt anything sending at present (quite simply, there isnt anything there to send). I suspect what you are seeing is whatever is left still going through. Are you seeing anything showing in your email error logs, or system logs?

  5. Hello, I send a bulk mail on 04-14-24 through the forum software. Since then approximately 3400 emails per day of this SAME email are send to 1! ONE person, totalling for +46.000! emails send from the forum software to this one person. They are all with different message IDs, so they were delivered separately. I'm using sendgrid to send my tiny lot (<500) of bulk"" mail ech month, and this is horrific for that person. Please help, I deleted that mail and somehow the forum is still sending it.
  6. I don't believe in any way that a users group could be moved as a result of what was happening with cloud there. However, I have created a ticket for you here, so we can look closer at this for you.
  7. Indeed there isnt really anything to do there. If there are bots that are harming your site for some reason, such as hammering your site and causing server issues, then of course we could take a look at that. Although to be honest, cloud would simply take care of that kind of thing anyway. But yes, its normal to end up with bots floating around your site :)
  8. You would need to contact the owner of that server and ask that they remove the software that you are licensing. There is no other way around that unfortunately
  9. The IPB software is detected on that hostname even though it's not configured. Remove the index.php or disable access to the site long enough for the license reset to be done and THEN make the files available.

We are in the middle of a server move, and database is huge and asset storage is huge. @Marc Stridgen we are in trouble, as we only have read access to former owner's server, so can't fiddle too much on old server, and we are getting this error. Possible to get a temporary license code while moving as it would be so much easier for us?
  12. Yup. The major crawlers tend to come every so often and when they do, they might have several different spidering instances crawling the site at the same time.

  14. Thank you MARC. I did not realize this was "normal", as it seems to occur on a random basis. None for months, then boom, in the blink of an eye, almost a hundred show up. I guess you might say I was a tad disconcerted.
  15. We are moving server for our self hosted and have removed previous test installation. Now we can not remove that test installation from Client area as it says it exists, but it is deleted and does not exist. Please advise.

  17. You submitted basically the same post 2 months ago: Marc's response is still applicable... why are you worried about this? If you are self-hosted and are having issues with resources, your best bet is to block them using a WAF like a Cloudflare or working with your hosting provider to block them. If you're hosted on IPB's cloud platform, there should not be any impact from this in any way.
  18. It happened again today. I have a member who was moved to another group. From all indications, it happened when the Cloud had issues today. This is not good. What if the next time it happens, a member is moved to an administrative group. Because of the previous discussion here, and the impression I took away from it, that I wasn't believed, I have not done anything with the member in question so you can have a look for yourself and see. I would like to have this investigated quickly so I can move the member in question back to their rightful group.
  19. The last 3 days, I have increasing numbers of bots, continually logging into the forum, yet not really logging in. Could you please do whatever it is you do in order to stop this unwanted invasion? Thank you very much. breezy
  20. @Jim M, Google is definitely deducting points for this issue, the question is how many. It would not be listed as an error there if there were no deductions for it. It would be great if this simple fix could be included in the next update. @SeNioR-, thanks for this. My experience with the modifying the IPB JS is that the changes won't stick, so this really needs to applied in an IPB update, is that correct?
  21. After blocking the spammer's IP, the errors in the event log stopped. The rest must be verified by the IPS team to see if this is an error that needs to be fixed.
