We fixed that, but you need the fix before the fix is.. fixed. Just to confirm, we will need beta 10 first to be able to upgrade via ACP moving forward right?

I just use my phone to check if someone posts a topic or sends me a message while I am away from my computer. I just don't use a phone for the site. Even if I were to use my phone for a post, it definitely would not be to create a table. I'm retired and most of my time on the forums is in front of 1 of my 3 computers on my desk. Matt Finger 1

Nowadays, most people use a mobile phone as desktop usage is declining very fast. I only use my iPhone or iPad to access this website. I think I’m pretty typical of many users these days. Maybe not most older people though. I’m retired too. konon 1

That's why I responded. had it said phone, I would have not responded. BTW, I do have a smartphone. It's an Android. I use it quite extensively. I just happen to prefer my desktop as I spend a lot of time one in working on my forums, designing my woodworking projects and programming my weather apps.
Omri Amos Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 anyone else getting issues with private messages? all my DMs are showing this error: [[Template core/front/global/comment is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme.]] Not sure when is started but I know for a fact it was working fine a few betas ago (when the notifications bug was fixed).
*Salvo* Posted Thursday at 02:46 PM Posted Thursday at 02:46 PM Upgraded yesterday, my community is read only actually, and it's a superbe software. I would go with the stable version IMHO. Matt 1

I hope that v5 makes it easier for people to use their mobile device to interact with the forum. dmaidon1 and Mike G. 2

UncrownedGuard Posted Saturday at 05:18 PM Posted Saturday at 05:18 PM I love the table feature! It is certainly very basic, but it is a working table! Is there anyway to align the entire table to center or right? I know you can do the text, but it seems stuck to a left alignment as a whole.
UncrownedGuard Posted Saturday at 05:44 PM Posted Saturday at 05:44 PM (edited) Oh! You can put the table in the box wrapper and go bananas with the size and settings. 10/10 Edited Saturday at 05:45 PM by UncrownedGuard

Who knows, maybe we'll see improvements in BETA 10 for this feature ;] UncrownedGuard 1

Along with the usual weekly round up of bug fixes, we've added a basic implementation of tables in the editor. We're testing this out to see how it goes before we build on it, but you should be able to add rows and columns and do all the usual table-y things. Let us know what you think! Tables is an interesting change. Could certainly aid communities with a math or sport focus. Mike G. 1
