October 23, 20222 yr It happens to me too, it's rare and random (Self-hosted). Using a custom theme (not the default one) along with 2/3 plugins/apps, difficult to determine where the anomaly comes from. I was thinking a quick double click and a temporary server slowdown.

CiC here. Pretty much the same here, running a slightly altered version of the default. However, switching to the default theme, it still displays as having been reacted to twice by the same user.
October 23, 20222 yr Yes indeed, when I checked in the database, there were indeed 2 reactions for the same post and for the same user.
October 23, 20222 yr Community Expert Unfortunately, this isn't something I am able to reproduce on the core software. Is this something that you are able to reproduce with all third-party applications/plugins disabled and on an unmodified theme? If so, could you please let us know the steps you took?
October 23, 20222 yr A user can react to something, remove it, and use the same reaction again or change it to something else.
October 24, 20222 yr Community Expert We have seen reports of this in the past on self-hosted environments, but unfortunately have never been able to actively replicate the issue

October 25, 20222 yr Community Expert Is that actually 2 reactions, or that someone has changed their reaction?
October 25, 20222 yr Community Expert The user there actually reacted to 2 different items there (2 posts in the same topic)
