Big Blank Area

I am using the default theme and this big huge area with nothing is there. Anyway to populate it with something or make it go away for something??

Are you seeing that in every topic or just this one? It shouldn’t look like that. But you might have something in your post that stretches the content and forces it below the avatar.

thanks for the reply. I have included some screenshots both with shorter text in post and one with a different theme and it all comes with same problem.

I would make a new default theme to see if this corrects the issue.

I can kind of replicate this, but it means moving a lot of code around, so it is quite possible that the template is out of whack. Recreating the default theme should rectify this, unless it's something else not related. Follow @SeNioR- instructions and create a new theme and see if that cures the issue - if not, then a link to your site would be essential to diagnose the issue 🙂

http://www.rootie.me is the site. I havent made any types if changes to the default theme

There has been a change made somewhere because there's extra HTML being produced which is causing the display issues. Part of your page reads:

Those <strong> tags which are dotted throughout shouldn't be there. Without them, your site displays correctly:

You might not have made any changes yourself but something has. Which plugins do you have enabled? Does the problem go away if you deactivate your plugins? If it does, reactivate them one by one until the error returns to identify the culprit.

Hello,

This is caused by an incorrect suffix on your group name. The prefix is:

<strong><font color="#cc0000">

And the suffix is:

</font><strong>

The font tag is deprecated and the strong tag is not closed properly. You should change the prefix to:

<strong style='color:#cc0000'>

And change the suffix to:

</strong>
