Olmyster Posted March 10, 2019 Posted March 10, 2019 I am continuing my investigation to try to solve the problem. When I visualize the source of a post, the following code is present <source src="https://accents-poetiques.com/uploads/monthly_2019_03/XXX.mp3.b21f60e3d81112bd4d20f9c66f4d2956.mp3" type="audio/mpeg"> However, the next part is missing and that is what explains the problem <audio controls="" style="margin-bottom:30px;"> <source src="https://accents-poetiques.com/uploads/monthly_2019_03/XXX.mp3.026f024c7cfd3daacec10fe46e7abfe7.mp3" type="audio/mpeg"> </audio> What could be the cause of this missing code for members?
TheJackal84 Posted March 19, 2019 Author Posted March 19, 2019 Updated to 2.0.2 Bug Fix Fixed the bug with embedding audio files in topics / posts etc Olmyster 1
Olmyster Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 Thanks @TheJackal84. I'll test it since the end of this week.
Olmyster Posted March 22, 2019 Posted March 22, 2019 Unfortunatly, after several tests, @TheJackal84, the problem is not solved. Currently, Media Uploader isn't functional for my webiste
BradTBP Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 I have a question, I just updated and set up categories. How do I move my previous uploads into the categories? Thanks. 2 minutes ago, BradTBP said: I have a question, I just updated and set up categories. How do I move my previous uploads into the categories? Thanks. Disregard, I think I may have found the way.
BradTBP Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 Maybe not. When I click on previous uploaded item, I have opportunity to move. When I move it to new category "audio" OI am getting this message:
Allfict Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 is .swf (flash) supported? Will there be .swf (flash) support in the future?
Koper74 Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 After upgrading to 2.0.3 Media Uploader ist totally broken. IPS is 4.4.3... In category-view: When trying upload a file:

Adam_S Posted May 24, 2019 Posted May 24, 2019 Hi, I'm wondering if there are parameters that allow for media (videos in particular) to autoplay? Thanks
Adam_S Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 Since updating, i can no longer upload anything. Any ideas? I also get this error when i try to save permissions in ACP: ArgumentCountError: Too few arguments to function IPS\Node\cjmenu_hook_cjmenuRecache::setPermissions(), 1 passed in /home/ozclubbe/public_html/system/Node/Controller.php on line 1189 and exactly 2 expected (0) #0 /home/ozclubbe/public_html/system/Node/Controller.php(1189): IPS\Node\cjmenu_hook_cjmenuRecache->setPermissions(Array) #1 /home/ozclubbe/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Controller.php(85): IPS\Node\_Controller->permissions() #2 /home/ozclubbe/public_html/system/Node/Controller.php(62): IPS\Dispatcher\_Controller->execute() #3 /home/ozclubbe/public_html/applications/cjmedia/modules/admin/categories/categories.php(43): IPS\Node\_Controller->execute() #4 /home/ozclubbe/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Dispatcher.php(152): IPS\cjmedia\modules\admin\categories\_categories->execute() #5 /home/ozclubbe/public_html/admin/index.php(14): IPS\_Dispatcher->run() #6 {main}
BradTBP Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Hi, I uploaded a couple videos and then on the third got this error when trying to Upload Video File. It was a large file by 9999999 the file size limit. What information do you need?
BradTBP Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 This still doesn't work although the site shows an update of the same version number 15 hours ago. I'm in my sports season and this app is useless. Has been for a month with no support.
AmericanRev2 Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 Is this working for pages? I have had to create my own embedding but only i can do it they users cannot my example is here... https://www.mymilitia.com/intel/construction-and-carpentry/above-ground-fallout-shelter-r16/ but when members upload PDF it looks like this... https://www.mymilitia.com/intel/construction-and-carpentry/a-treatise-on-field-fortification-by-dh-mahan-3rd-ed-1852-r586/ I will buy this if it will embed the PDF like i show in my example. Also will it convert the old records?
AmericanRev2 Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 Dont think this is going to do what i want 😞 I just want to be able to post PDF's from the editor and have them embed i dont know why this has to be so difficult, i dont want to upload somewhere else first then import to the thread thats ridiculous not to mention the preview shows the document but its blank when you embed it

AmericanRev2 Posted December 13, 2019 Posted December 13, 2019 NOPE, wasted my $$$ there too, neither of these apps are even using the correct script to display PDF cross browser I proved it can be done right here.... https://www.mymilitia.com/intel/construction-and-carpentry/above-ground-fallout-shelter-r16/ But i have to upload the files via FTP to my server for them to show, thats no good for members. Here is the correct script to embed PDF ... https://mozilla.github.io/pdf.js/
AmericanRev2 Posted December 13, 2019 Posted December 13, 2019 I am trying to tweak what i have ... <p> <iframe height="800px" scrolling="auto" src="https://www.mymilitia.com/pdfjs/web/viewer.html?file={option}" width="100%">PDF File Embeded</iframe> </p> that is only for me to something like this <p> <iframe height="800px" scrolling="auto" src="https://www.mymilitia.com/pdfjs/web/viewer.html?url={option}" width="100%">PDF File Embeded</iframe> </p> which is what this plug in is trying to do my code is not right tho Dec-12-2019 20-08-22.mp4 Dec-12-2019 20-08-22.mp4
TheJackal84 Posted December 13, 2019 Author Posted December 13, 2019 @kmk @fix3r are you both having a laugh? first @kmk you are trying to push sales away from me by posting other media files on my support topics, then use my support topic for a different file
AmericanRev2 Posted December 13, 2019 Posted December 13, 2019 sorry bud, i paid for your file at least 😄 (twice now and never used it) will take the question else where
kmk Posted December 13, 2019 Posted December 13, 2019 I have this file purchased too. Sorry, isn't the case as you said, I only try to give a reply that I think "maybe help"... 11 hours ago, kmk said: 😞 I just want to be able to post PDF's from the editor

AmericanRev2 Posted December 13, 2019 Posted December 13, 2019 (edited) yes really all people want is to use the native file uploader, click upload... select a pdf and have it embed thats it xenforo could do it 5 years ago but ips needs $50 addon that still does not embed pdf directly from native uploader Edited December 13, 2019 by fix3r
