I know some of this is the nature of mobile vs desktop related hardware and network, but are there any other areas I can look to tune for getting more responsiveness out of the hamburger menu, notifications, and reactions popups? Seems like on mobile, these are really slow to popup when clicked. I can't tell if it's a server resource issue, a config issue, or simply a device/network issue. Any suggestions on where to look would be great!

Hello We get an error every (I think) evening at 23:30 and it lasts for 20-30 minutes. Swedish timezone. After that everything is OK until the next evening at the same time. Subscriptions still register but all store purchases gets refused. When checking the API and save I get this error. But my host checked everything and see no problems Any solution to this?

I just ran the latest upgrade. The message box does not open in my forum. This is as usual when I upgrade to the latest version. In the past you have instructed me to clear my Cloudflare cache and that has solved the problem. This time it did not. As a result, I'm unable to post on my board. Thanks for your help.

If I want to switch authors to anonymous in Blog Entries, there is not any setting for this. I can do it only via SQL Query UPDATE blog_entries SET entry_is_anon = 1; Would be possible add feature for this?

I am getting this error now after trying to update the invision community. It stopped the update and now there is nothing I can click or go to to continue the process. Like it's stuck mid process. Not really sure how to get around this and begin the update process again. Any suggestions? Has anyone gotten this php error when running an update? I am on the line with the host company, but am a bit confused as to why I got it in the first place and why I am not able to access anything in the admin area but this page.

On my self-hosted v4.712, I decided to move all post image data to an S3 bucket a couple of days ago. It was progressing as expected, but the dashboard shows progress stuck at 65.21%. One thing I have been doing is uploading some of the attachment folders manually to the S3 bucket because we have so many attachments, but I don't know whether that has interfered. I have tried clearing system caches. Cloudflare has been disabled through this entire process. I click to manually run the tasks now, it spins for a few seconds and the errors out with an HTTP 500 error. A refresh then shows the same dashboard status:

Hello, how can I make correct internal link using editor? When I use "link" button in the editor and type full URL within my domain, the link works but has rel="external" attribute. I would like to have internal links without the "external" atrribute. I tried different ways to use relative link, but never get the right URL. For example my URL is example.com. I tried to use relative url like "/test/test", but the editor converts it to https://test/test instead of "https://example.com/test/test. Thank you Petr

Hello, We have v. 4.7.9 and we wanted to upgrade to the latest. We got a message on the 1st step that we need to fix our database and a lot of sql code. It didn't manage to run automatically so we had to run it through the phpadmin. All commands completed with no issues. Still when we run the the upgrade we get the same message on the Fix this step and the same chunk of commands that we got in the first place as if it does not detect the changes. On the support page we have only 2 issues - one for the upgrade and 1 for the database. Just got our IPS loaded yesterday and beginning to work in there. Whenever I try to post a first blog entry, there is an error: Had my server guy look at it, but he says this: It looks like that form should submit an array to the processing page but it actually submitted a string which is what caused it to fail. I recently upgraded my forum to the latest stable version, and now I can't seem to edit my globalTemplate file (for both new and old themes). When I try to edit I get an error message that says that "this theme file could not be saved". I can change my custom.css file without any problems. Is there a new setting or something that I've missed? 🤔

Hello, We recently have done a penetration test, which resulted in a few points that maybe are worth addressing. The two points we wondered if you could help us with are the following. We got a notice because there is no HTTPonly set on the cookies. We also got a notice because the SameSite attribute of cookies is not set. (see image) Is there a reason these are configured as is? I am trying to upgrade from v4.5.4.2 to v4.7.12, but two issues are stopping me. I'm currently running PHP version 7.4.30 and when I try to upgrade to PHP 8.1 to be able to perform the upgrade, my community and ACP eventually stops working. Also, once I run on PHP 8.1 (or 8.0) I get "database problems" that I can't seem to fix. I had some billing issues with my Domain host this morning so my website went temporarily down. The billing issue has been sorted, and I have verified its been taking care of for another year, but now my website link doesn't work for me, though it appears to be working without issue for certain users.

Hello, I recently switched the self-hosted license to the "classic" self-hosted package (yearly plan) to have access to more features, such as the new spam prevention features announced here. However, I am not quite familiar with the procedure. Do I need to re-download the whole package and upload it via FTP? Anything else? Please guide.

We have an issue with multiple topics where the views counter incorrectly displays 0. We know this is incorrect as the topics have multiple replies. We have restarted Amazon RDS and the EC2 instance with no effect.

Hi there: We recently moved servers and upgraded to the most recent version of the self-hosted software. The site is now working fine, but I've noticed in the "Get Support" area of the Admin CP that it's flagging a critical issue with our database. It times out when I try to run the suggested SQL fix automatically, so I copied the SQL into a text file, renamed it as SQL and executed it on the DB Server. It seemed to run successfully, reporting 59 new tables created, but the error message has not changed at all. Any suggestions? I'm attaching the SQL as a TXT file. Forum-DB-Changes-Aug30.txt

I've noticed over the last few days my s3Delete task has started to lock up and will not run until I unlock it. Then when I unlock it and manually run it everything completes "successfully" I however have noticed the following errors multiple times in the system logs. Is there any way to solve this?
