Someone told me that Invision has a MOD for Music Players. I've looked almost everywhere and have no idea how to get the MOD onto a forum. How do I install it, if it exists? Whats up with the same automated replied with IPB staff? No matter what kinda problem you have, you will receive the same reply within 20 seconds. I dont think customers care about speedy automated response, they need someone actually read the question first. I know it saves your company some time and some staff but in the end its gonna take more time for a problem to resolve. Sorry but the support is not satisfactory anymore!

Invisionnexus.com should be fixed

Where http://www.invisionnexus.com/ used to have a placeholder image and when you clicked on it, it would forward you to the IP.Nexus site for further information on the product, it now just shows a missing image, and whenever you click on the missing image to have it redirect you, it goes to the 404 error page (since the new IPS site update, I guess it hasn't been updated to reflect the changes accordingly). Just thought I'd point that out.

My Assistant

I have been thinking this for a while, and have only just decided to register and post. When you receive a new PM, you get the My Assistant Pop-Up, but, if you have just clicked a link to view the latest post, which is at the bottom of the forums, you do not see the pop-up, so you may not see that you have a PM. My thought is that the My Assistant should scroll down with you when it is open. Also that it stays open until you close it. :thumbsup:

Hide certain forums form the "view new posts" search results

I think a great feature would be one where admins can eliminate certain forums from showing up in the "View New Posts" search results. For example, I have a forum where people can cuss and post crude humor, but I would like to keep that stuff out of the regular forum. Anyway, is there a place to add this to the list of future features?

Hi, Is anyone having a problem logging into the client area through Converge when they use there IPS Client Area sub-accounts. When I go to http://login.ipslink.com and click IPS Client Area I would get this message Log In Successful Please wait to be returned... Once I get to the http://www.invisionpower.com/customer/ it says I have to login again? Anyone getting this issue? Thanks, BigTom3007

Profile Privacy

This thread is leading on from a discussion I had about other features I suggested I couldn't discuss there though since it was unrelated to the thread topic. In any case what I was thinking was that now since the profile portal is available for members I would like it if there were some options for privacy for example it may be that members don't want to share some aspects of their profile that currently they have no choice over like their buddies list. For the most part the suggestion in this post would do the trick however I wanted to take the idea a little further by adding a global switch for members too.

As this is not a current feature of Invision Board 2.2.2, I have been advised to make a suggestion for it in this forum channel. I would like the possibility to enable/disable members (or user groups) to be able to subscribe to forums and be notified by email when new postings have occurred. In addition I would like to define the number of topics a member (or user group) can subscribe to. I don't know what the relationship is with banned users and their topic subscriptions, so being able to set this at the user group level would be ideal. Currently there are no such parameters so there is nothing stopping community members to subscribe to each and every topic on a foru…

Is it planned in the future that your Bug Tracker is going to be released to the public. I really like how its setup, and the features it has. Would it be added as another one of those $50.00 dollar components? There is a free one out that mimics the IP one, but you guys added the status info while viewing and the colors, and it looks really nice. :thumbsup:

Just found this out and found it quite buggy to be honest. I get emails that ppl have added me to their friends list however when i visit the forum theres absolutely no way to see who added me?!?! WHY NOT, i think its silly and doesn't make any sense, i should be able to see which people have added me as friends! right?

Suggestion: Put <if> in TopicView>RenderRow for warn

I suggest that in Topic-View > Render Row (skin template), there be an <if> statement for displaying the warn. So by removing the <if>, I can allow anybody to view the warning. Right now- to allow everybody viewing the warning in topic view, it needs to be adjusted via the hard code. {$author['warn_text']} {$author['warn_minus']}{$author['warn_img']}{$author['warn_add']}

Ok i have a long story, I recently bought a hosting plan from ips, I dont want to host with them anymore, Anyways, Im going to host with someone else, But if i cancle my hosting plan i wont have access to the client area or my downloads section, in case theirs a new upgrade for ipb, how will i get it?

Suggestion: Allow default post font, font color, etc

On one of the boards I read, many people have chosen to personalize their posts in a certain font, font color, font style, etc. For example I use green and bold. To do this is a few extra steps because you have to drag to highlight the post, click the font color pulldown, click your color, then click the bold button. A suggestion was made on that board that IPB should allow a user to save defaults for font, font color, style, and perhaps size. I know several people would love to see this feature.
