For the popup window, why not make it use the same javascript as My Assistant?

They did it this way on purpose, so that you could keep that window up as you browsed around the forums.

Why do you need to keep that window open when you are browsing the forums? I mean it serves no purpose all I an do is see my friends, and add or remove them.

I can see if you wanted to know who is online or offline, but its not like I can open a chat message with them or anything, that would be nice. I think JavaScript would look better. But for the few times I add or remove friends its not a big deal.
