They were asking people to keep posting bug reports for the CleanCut skin to get it out faster. A test copy is already loaded on the invisionpower forums. go to the bottom left of the page and select it for testing. ehren was also soliciting feedback for improvements in the header CleanCut Bug Reports Feedback and Improvements to the CleanCut Header

if you re-read the thread there are a number of people including myself who WANT to be charged extra for those "future services" including the spam system. Our only request is that we not have to terminate our rights as perpetual/lifetime licenseholders. But as Charles stated. IPS is looking at solutions. So, we'll see what happens.

Why not charge like $10 every six months for the service for all active license holders? Then waive the fee for those people using the new Standard License system. In the future if you have more services, you can than increase the price of the service and bundle in more services. But still waive the fee for those with the new Standard licenses who are paying for renewal. just a thought.

i'd say IPS is pretty happy with the CleanCut skin....considering they paid $2k for it. ;)

an official tagging component is long overdue. Personally I think it should happen before 3.1. IPB is getting too aged to wait for some of these features. _________________________________________________________ Official Social bookmarking would be nice too. It's in the blog system, but we can't do it for topics. I don't see how the systems should differ that much. Maybe make it a component so it that can work across all the different systems like blog, IPB, etc. It would be nice to be able to twitter a blog or topic by just clicking a link from the board. Like say I want to twitter to all my friends that IPB just released 3.0. I should be able to click a link off the company news announcement and have it get twittered.

at the top of all the product feedback forums this never got fixed. just a heads up to one of the staff. Actually the second one never got fixed either at the top of the Blog Feedback forum either where it refers to IPS beyond.

wow....i would not have called that in a million years. I was still thinking a couple weeks away. Now I really have to get moving with testing. congrats IPS on getting it done!

Ah ok that makes sense. Thought there might be a chance since sphinx seems more officially supported now. Didn't realize it even adjusted the weighting of terms as well. So, i guess things won't be as bad on our live board since we use sphinx. thanks for the heads up.

Do the IPS forums use sphinx?

It's blazing fast right now. Did you guys tweak it even further after the server change?
