When I try to download a file in Knowledge Base in Client Area, it asks for the username and password of the user IPS on http://www.invisionpower.com >_<

This is being looked into currently. We are aware of the issue... it is due to an image being loaded from a seperate folder that is in password protected directory.

I submitted a ticket about this on Saturday. The problem is with displaying a graphic from a restricted folder..
My work-around was to ignore the request and go on.

Sorry Keith, you beat me to it.

I didn't check all the FAQs, but I only had it happen in the negative PMs FAQ.

It also affects downloading the attached files i think. I can't download the attached file...

I used 'Save target as and was able to get the file (after getting rid of the password request).

File names are shown as plain text on my browser. It's not a link

There is a link to the right that is supposed to appear. This is what you click to download the file, and unfortuntely this is the image that is password protected. I'll try to get this sorted as soon as possible.

To the left where the graphic should be, I right-clicked and selected "save target as". I didn't get the 'zip' graphic but just a placeholder.

Ooops... Firefox doesn't show a placeholder for broken images :) Downloaded via IE :)
