it said that Adsense is not friendly to the forum sites; mainly because it structured in farames where the google system does not move from frame to other ; it may be nice also to take the benefits of the Adsense publishers into consideration when moving up the the next release. with Vbulletin the webmaster able to place the Adsense Ads in different places also able to create skyscrapper Ads windows without grat fuss.

It will be goog addon feature if it is possible to elaborate more with filtering when creating bulk email; I may like to send email to my members in the states , UK or other countries> I think such facility can be achieved by using the components of The registered IP ; also it will be nice to be able have country table to choose from - for part of the filteration

It would be good if there is an optionin admin cp to use text instead of .gif or .jpg pic for a logo. Just like mambo has. You just type the text thatyou want to appear as logo. :rolleyes:

Something I would like to see for IPB 3.0 I know communityseo has this. When you install communityseo it asks for a key. and the whole install folder is encoded which means people cant install IPB 3.0 without a key and the max installs you can do with that key is lets say 3

It would be nice if we could have some sort of a "prune this topic" feature. It could work in a few different ways: 1. Have a checkbox to delete all posts on a page, instead of having to do it one by one. 2. Have an option to remove all posts EXCEPT the first one in a topic. 3. Have an option for the admin to remove all posts before or after page (insert number here). Thoughts?

Can we have option UTF-8 selected by default? Because most of the rss feeds use UTF-8. Or have a small checkbox there to select which option to select as a default setting.

It would be great if we can post videos, using rss feature , like from youtube directly rather than using some mod. Plus a search feature to search words in rss in admin cp, would be helpful. My forum has 55 pages of imported rss feeds and ~~ 500 of them, and its not easy to edit one of them as we cant search.

I was looking at all the Knowledge Base Articles in the Client Area and i saw a few that has IPSB in them . :o I'm thinking that they should be changed to the new site. Also i would like to see more feedback surveys in the Client Area . If IPS want feedback thats where most people will go before the forums. Well i did . :huh:

Do you lease boards? I'd like to get a board[again] and be able to lease it in case it doesn't exactly start off on the right foot. and if you dont, i suggest you do it. But make it for a certain period of time. Like you choose 5 years, then you have to pay it for 5 years, or atleast wait a year before your able to cancel the thing. Jus' wondering.

A Login as user feature

Well admins have the ability to look at users, change their password but they can't login as a user to verify problems with user accounts. It would be really awesome to have a feature that only Root admins/admins have to be able to look up a user and click a link to "Login as user" which opens in a new window to verify issues. Being that Administrators have so much power they may not be able to see issues from the same point of view as a member AND it may be a problem with that users computer but happening on your forum. I think this would alleviate having to make a test user account, though I like to have one sometimes, and having to change a users password to try to d…

I've posted looking for a mod and asked for support so far nothing. This is a security issue (I'm finding you have many) There needs to be a way to assign ACP permissions by group not just user. Also forum passwords need to be at least hidden if not encrypted on the ACP side.

Ok this is just like the gallery topic but for IPB 3 I would like to see.. 1. IPB for only Php5 and MYSQL 5 2. Somehow make converge to the permission group settings and put them into converge . As in one admin can login into one forum and then go converge and login into the other forum. (Helpful for huge boards) Thats all

I have suggestions on changes for IPB 3.0: 1. Super moderators can see IP-address. I cannot prevent this. This should be changed in IPB 3.0. 2. The IP-address for Administrators is announced as "hidden". Super Moderators can make a query, however, and get the IP-address from Administrators nevertheless. Also normal Moderators can this, if permitted. This should be changed in IPB 3.0. It is no use announcing IP-Adressse as "hidden". How do they think about this?

I know that your search does not allow strings less than 4 characters because of limitations described in previous posts I have made. But have you considered maybe making keywords or an easier way to find terms like SSI or RSS? It would make searching through the Resources site much easier for those topics.

VB did (does?) have something a bit like this (but not quite) Anyway, it would be nice to see a protected account feature (something you would add to conf_global.php possibly) like this... $INFO['protected_acc'] = '1'; Or possibly... $INFO['protected_acc'] = '1,17,432'; Any member id specified in here would NOT be editable at all by anyone in the ACP / User Control Panel etc.

if a small script can be included so that if any forbidden file like .php extension file is uploaded it would send a email to admin telling code of the file n file location. n may be rename the file to \.php.old :)

The support is amazingly fast. Allot faster than my hosts support of which I have to wait at least 12+ hours for a response. In my time being here so far, longest wait I can remember is a few hours. I forgot the password for my old IPS account, so I went through the "password recovery process" and followed the instructions in the email I received the following error: I tried around 15 times, so it wasn't human error... it'd be nice if I could login to the Client Area, I really want to download IPB... if it helps, my email address is xxanubisxx@hotmail.co.uk. About me posting my email address on a public forum, I don't use that email address any more so I couldn't care less. .KX can't help but point out that you spelt "occurred" wrong in your error message. :P

How accurate is the Statistic Center in the ACP? According to the topic view stats, one of my forums has only been viewed 19 times this month. I've probably viewed it at least 19 times myself! How're these stats calculated? Are there settings in the ACP that can affect the stats (topic view counter)?
