sorry for my first post on Pre-Sales Question box, i repost again. I've waited for this version is very long then, I want to upgrade but there is doubt. I would like to ask whether these can be upgraded from RC1 to the RC2, RCx... version and Final version ot not? Thank you very much.

Sorry if this has already been answered but how are the avatars in the gallery sorted? On 2.3.6 they appear to be in some sort of order. 01.png 02.png 03.png etc... However in the 3.0.0 RC1 they are just randomly scattered around on the page and do not seem to be in any specific order.

Just curious, as I'm trying to work on getting some stuff ready for my site, I wanted to take a look at the portal page to get an idea for the look and feel of it, and how to customize it a bit for my purposes. Let me know if there's a portal page up right now, so I can at least make some sketches on paper :) Thanks!

I know in the blog it stated to expect the release within 2 weeks (or so...) - Just curious how much longer we have, I'm actually trying to give an update to my current active forum members as it's an almost nagging daily question now. I'm sure I speak for many, this isn't me trying to bug, I've just not seen any other news/updates on how soon the new release is going to be. Thanks and again, good job to all the staff and other beta testers so far, it's rocking!

I use two spaces after periods when posting, and I do so intentionally. Why, on display, is the second space removed? I could understand parsing out excess (4, 5, 6 spaces) but why the second (and still fairly standard) space?

On the view new content page, I'd rather not flip through each application tab to see if there's new content. Could you add a count of new content within each application on the tabs? So I know, for example, that blog has two new entries while reading the Forum's new content? :)

If you have IPB set to make admins approve all new accounts, it would be helpful if there was an IP checker which displayed what country the IP is associated with. 99.999% of my real users are from the US. Anyone who comes in from China or Russia are almost always spam bots. I have to manually check each IP. Knowing the city/state/co would also help deal with trolls/banned members much easier. Oftentimes when you ban a member, he comes back under a new IP, different name; however the IP almost always is from the same city/st. Just a thought. If this can't be built into IPB, a mod would be great. Thanks for reading...

We require members to use the email of the company they work for. If they leave the company, we don't want them to change it to their personal yahoo, gmail, etc email account. Also, we always want them to use their company email. Is there anyway to stop them from changing their email, or, require Admin approval of email changes, or have the admin get a email notification of member password changes? It would be nice to have and an excel/csv list of accounts and emails (or all information).

With the Manage topic Poll section and the Attachment area, the length of the page has gotten pretty long. I now i have to scroll down just to get to the "Add Reply" button. Personally i think this could be condensed down a little more so they aren't taking up so much screen real estate. Most times i don't ever use either of those options. I write a once sentence reply and click add reply. So having it take up all that space seems rather user unfriendly. just a thought...

In the Admin CP, could you please link the IPBoard logo to go to the homepage of the Admin CP. For some reason when I am done editing something and I want to go to the homepage I always click on the logo lol Does anyone else do this or am I going crazy :P -noop

While its on my mind there are two suggestions I have that I would like to see implemented as soon as possible and bother are actually quite simple requests. Both are also actually suggestions for user group permissions. 1. Control the ability to assign skins per user group. 2. Control the ability to assign which user group can and cannot have signatures.

When i translate the language, the seach function is very useful and helpful. But after i edited some word pack,the search function is disapear. If i want to edit the next one, i must go to the first page of [Manage Languages]. I think that will be more convenient,if the serch function showing in every editing pages,when editing languge word pack. Thanks. :D

Hello, this feature wasn't integrated in IPB 2 and it seems, Version 3 goes without it, too. I find it a little strange, because the seperate view of a single post is very common in other boards (like vBulletin). My problem is, that the links to the posts just access an anchor within the complete thread structure. Is there any possible way, to show a post separately via permalink? Just the post without the other posts inside the thread...

1. Add to information.xml structure fields <langsgroups> </langsgroups> for deletion lang files (like <templatesgroups>). 2. Change id structure (member_form.php & group_form.php) to tabtab-MEMBERS|[app_name] (checked, it works, but?) 3. Place application tabs after already created system tabs.

I think it would be nice if under the quota information, there was a list of enabled file types allowed for upload. Right now there is no list....so how would i know what i could upload? wait for the error screen? like this: Used 0bytes of your 4.88MB global upload quota (Max. single file size: 2MB) File Types allowed: jpg, doc, zip, png, pdf, etc

We knowed that we can edit the language of Discussion, Members, Blogs, Tracker, Calendar and Gallery of board index in ACP. But it's only allowed one language, English or other own language. Is it possible exiting two or more language, when members change the language, [Discussion, Members..etc] can be changed too. Thanks. :lol:
