1. Just as signatures may now be disabled per group permissions, I'm suggesting that "About Me" be treated in the same fashion. I have sigs disabled for those who have just signed up. After a certain number of posts, they are promoted to regular membership and can add a sig. I'd like to be able to do the same with bbcode in the "About Me" page in order to combat link spam. 1b. The same permissions for member_profile=>contact_info=>website_URL would be a help too. 2. A moderator setting that allows them to edit sigs and "About Me" and member_profile=>contact_info=>website_URL without needing access to the ACP would be a great help to combat link spam. I r…

I've suggested this a long time ago also, but wanted to do it again. I think the ACP should have a pahge of "what's new". Either showing all new settings in the newest forum version or else maybe even showing all settings added since your last upgrade of any kind (so all settings after that timestamp). When there are new versions like this it's a headache finding where to set the new settings. For example to allow people to see who repped them, you have to go into manage user groups. But other changes are in other places and it's hard to remember to edit user groups after each upgrade and then looking through them to even remember what's new.

Hi, It would be really useful if we could move up and down our packages in the client area. When you have several it would be nice to see each forum grouped together, so allowing them to be moved up and down would help. Also in relation to the client area - would be nice if old tickets could be deleted, especially when we did not create them and they contain potentially confidential information. Thanks.

I suggest that you add this line in that file: Disallow: /forum/index.php?app=members&module=moderate I get tons of errors from googlebot via that. edit: seems that doesnt help :(

Hello, I have already installed IP.Chat (50 users) days ago and it already worked provided by a correct Account Key. But then today, when I checked the Chatroom, I had this error "[#CHAT-01] The chat room has not been properly setup by the administrator (the chat room account number has not been supplied). " When I checked my IP.Chat settings, the key was still there. I saved the settings again leaving it as is but still to no avail. I decided to reset the Account Key on the settings leaving the textbox blank, I then logged on to my account on IP and went to my purchased packages to get my Account Key for the IP.Chat but it seems like I cannot see it there? Hi there, Look at these Templates : Board Index / hookFacebookActivity and Topic View / hookFacebookLike The Language for the Facebook text Java Script. It is connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js So at the Like Section it shows : you and 5 of your Friends like that or something similar. But on a german, french,polish or other site it says the same. All in English. Here is my workaround for the german output : connect.facebook.net/de_DE/all.js thats line 12 in hookFacebookLike and Line 15 in hookFacebookActivity So it is hardcoded. Can you please make it changeable per ACP ? That makes it easier for all. Hopefully i am right here :)

Is it possible to add a 'New Posts' link to all pages as the site of 'View New Content'? That is a link similar to new content, but one that always goes to the new posts/forums tab in new content instead of new content default which is referential to the area one is in?

I hope there will be some developer documentation for 3.1 soon. For one thing I'm not sure if anything needs to be done to 3.0 apps. IPS stated that blog and gallery were updated to work with 3.1, for example, but as far as I know nothing needed to be done to update an existing app to work with 3.1.

when downloading new packages they are uncompressed as a directory "upload" can your download packages be named to match their content? So that the board = board, blog = blog and subscriptions = subscription and gallery = gallery? Converge is uniquely named.

I just noticed that if you already logged in and then navigate to the login page http://community.invisionpower.com/index.php?app=core&module=global§ion=login You basically have the option to login again? I think there should be a message saying that you already logged in instead of the normal login form. What do you think?

Hi Peeps, First of all can I say that IP.Chat is a fantastic product. However I do have one concern. As I have a family oriented forum we tend to have the ruling of "If there are children in the room, bloody behave", and personally I would like to keep that on my forum. The problem is with IP.Chat is that it shows the last X messages when you enter a room and as far as I can see there is no way of switching this off. Basically meaning people can be saying things that are inappropriate and a younger person could enter the room seeing everything that others have just been saying. Personally I would like to see an option in the admin panel that lets us add our affiliate ID to the copyright footer, but still keep the same anchor text etc, if that makes any sence?

So i uninstalled and removed ip chat, upgraded to 3.1, got ipchat 1.1 uploaded that, installed it, dropped all tables so new tables went in, and i have both HIDE options set to NO in the IP CHAT application section. Why do i still not get a user count in my chat tab above? I have the free 5 user version for now.
