Not sure if this has been brought up before but one thing I'd like to see is an option to log all outbound e-mails to a file. Including new registration, notification, etc e-mails. I think that would make tracking down any potential e-mail issues much easier and would also allow you to see for sure if/when notification e-mails are going out.

Googlebot doesn't index signatures for some reason now. This should be fixed so Googlebot can actually see signatures. This is not theme specific. Even on this forum signatures don;t show to Googlebot's user-agent. This is cloaking!

How can i let my normal mods edit profile fields,comments and status updates? I don't want to make them smods. But I want them to edit big signatures etc. I think this feature should be implemented.

I reported an error, that PMs, which are sent by the conversation starter, get lost, if the recipient has deleted his copy. The whole thing happens without notification, the only hint is, that when viewing the PM, a small text "has left convesation" is shown below the recipient's name. Because of that "Feature" dozens of people complain that PMs get lost on my Forum, which is completely inacceptable. The answer of IPB Support is as follows: So it's part of the "feature", that if Bob keeps on sending PMs if Fred has delteted his part of the conversation, the messages will never reach Fred. I have noticed that every time I search using the box at the top of this site, it ALWAYS returns no results. Typing the exact same search into the box again and hitting enter will give you results though. What's up with that? I started out thinking "Wow, there is no way there are no topics with that search term" so I started plugging it in again and sure thing... second time is always a charm. Any ideas?

Facebook has updated its Registration plug-in for developers to help streamline the way users can sign up for accounts on a site and connect those accounts with Facebook. See http://developers.facebook.com/blog/post/449 I really hope that IPB adds support for this feature soon. I think this is a much better way to register rather than having people "login with facebook" and trying to auto-create the account using the facebook info. Using this method the new member will clearly know what information is being copied into your website and we can easily request extra information to be requested from the user in a single form. In support ticket #716701, I have an escalated tier 3 (advanced development) issue that I made since Jan 15th. It's about a bug I found which Mark admitted to Nexus having. The problem is customers would be charged automatically or even manually, yet they would remain in the trial membership group even if the package is not supposed to expire until late in the future. Even customers with multiple purchases of the same package experience this error. There were a few features that really stood out in vBSEO (at least to me) to really help a board rank well in any search engine so I hope these suggestions are really considered and thought through by the dev staff whether to implement them or not. I'd like to suggest to record the person's IP and username in the paypal receipt. This way I can start turning over fraudulent IP addresses and at the same time ban those people from the site/server. These people are scum and with paypal continually upping the prices for chargebacks (its anywhere in the 10-15 USD range right now), these people need to be dealt with. I understand some users can and will use proxies but some won't be smart enough to. This will also help me keep track of purchases that don't upgrade or something goes wrong. Because IP.Board doesn't come in our language I was forced to install another instance of it prior to upgrading 2.x to 3.x on a production board, which went well as about 80% of public part was translated in a testbed environment, but... due to licencing IP.Gallery probably wouldn't work on the test bed. Can you guys clean up obsolete files when you install new versions? For example, I just installed Download Manager 2.3.1 over the top of an older version. The admin/applications_addon/ips/downloads/modules_public/ajax folder on my site has a comments.php file in it but that file is not in the 2.3.1 zip file. There are several other old DM files on my site. I ran into the same problem with an add-on I wrote. I used the version_upgrade.php file to delete my obsolete files. Can you guys do the same or something similar?

Just wanted to say a public thank you to the guys who give us such great technical support - particularly Jason H - who tonight has restored my forum AND upgraded it (from 2.4 to the latest version) in just a couple of hours from the request being put in. Have had a ghastly 3 days with my server being hacked so badly it was totally unfixable. Getting a new server commissioned, salvaging data, and getting everything working again has been an absolute nightmare - and I could have killed a couple of technicians at my server hosts AND my server administrators by the end of it. If you delete a bbcode, will it still work on the previous posts? I think it works this way with emoticons, doesn't it? I saw this somewhere, maybe language when deleting one. I ask because I will be converting a large vB forum with some custom bbcode. I would like to delete those bbcodes but still have them work on old posts if possible. Thanks

Hi all, Just recenrly upgraded to IPB v3 from v2 and just paid for the 20 users chat - looking GREAT! I have a few visually impaired member and they has said they can't see the chat text very well and they have asked to see if it is possible to change the colour of text and have it bolder - i.e. settings that only applies to themselves and not to global setting where everyone would see the same thing as them. Is it possible to make this more accessible for visually impaired users? Thank you,

In a particular forum where it says "Started By" can we have the option of changing the user's name to any colour we want? At present we can change the colour of group names but it doesn't display in the forum topic listings.

I think each status update should have its own link and page, including the comments made to that particular status update. The reason why Invision should need this is very simple (mainly for SEO) : * It's much easier to post something to statuses section. * For my forums, most of the times, people post things which are very useful and again make relevant comments to this. So all things considered, it would be great if it was indexed by search engines. * And for some status updates, we need to check it back months later. But, it's impossible to reach that status update if it's a busy forum. Any ideas / comments about this?

In the ACP: Subscriptions Manage Payment Gateways Manage Packages Manage Transactions Manage Currencies Manually Add Transaction Install Payment Gateways Subscription Settings for Available Payment Gateways it would be nice to be able to add our own. I would like one that allows customers to process transactions by calling us and us running their CC over the phone.
