First time I actually used a plugin script and, except for the bug with it, I have noticed that when a custom upgrade script for a plugin runs the title is simply "Running custom script upgrade for LONG_VERSION". Can we get support for custom titles just like in applications? I had actually included a custom title in my own upgrade script but it's not getting picked up since it is not supported (example in the first post):

I thought I would leave some feedback here also. Seems like there is so much hate with the new version of IPB 4. I just came from the latest version of Xenforo back to IPB. Now a lot of people have been asking me why. I have even had people on here PMing me on here asking if I am crazy. Seem like most people are converting the opposite way. But I like a lot of new things they have done with IPB 4. I first have to convert into the 3.4.8 version before going to 4. It was a little bit of work but got everything imported in expect Member's passwords. Not to big of a deal. It's clear that you guys have been working on making it easier to discover content, but the Pages app still lacks a lot of opportunities that systems like WordPress have. I receive a lot of traffic from posts going viral on social media and the problem is that people tend to leave my site after they're done reading the post, instead of exploring more similar posts. When using colorizer to easily edit a skin's colors, can you allow us to manually specify the HEX color code? (currently just a color choose) Anywhere else it's in this tool possible except when using the colorizer when picking those 4 main colors. Thanks!

Hi Guys, I see there is beeing done allot to the updating on the IPS 4. But is there not a way u guys can make upgrade packages... that we only upgrade the files to our board with the files that is been modifyd and not all files. Or you guys modify so much files that the whole upgrade/install package need to be uploaded to the server....

I don't recall this being a feature in the past. Maybe it was but I don't remember it. I don't know about other forums but I don't love members seeing every single permission grouping I've ever setup as they can now in the advanced searching function. If there isn't already, I would love to see an option to disable that. I have a pretty long list popping up and most are secondary permission sets that weren't named with being publicly visible in mind. It's awkward...LOL.

I know it's working as designed, but it is so amazingly annoying when I can't view any pics. Almost all pics that people upload are sideways. Contrary to the title this is safe for work. If I upload an image and use it in a content item and than download this image, it has a file name with the file type twice. Example: Original file name: example.jpg New file name: 564c3a6643e70_example.jpg.e4f937fdee158c6e1b1c00556a1d63db.jpg I understand adding an individual number at the beginning, but not the long part at the end and the double file type. Support alredy told me that this is the way the system works at the moment. Are there any plans to change this behavior in future releases? Thanks, Markus

I would like to suggest adding a option for displaying by member group. Like I'm set up up for sell product and want to let guest member know that they need to register with the forum to purchase product. But there is only allowance for placement. I don't want to have a ton of announcements displayed to all members just certain groups need information.

You can't remove attachments from the editor (in 3.4 it was not even a part of the editor) so we lose control over images. The Uploads field allows us to limit uploads to 1 or multiple, but if we allow 1, they can still attach multiple using the editor. I also like to use Uploads to place the images where I want in the article. Please allow us to turn off attachments, so we have full control over images using Uploads. In 3.4 you simply removed it from the editor. That gives us full image count/placement control, but you could add a setting for those that want it in the editor. Firstly, I would like to thank @Mark for upgrading my site (along with staff before hand who helped with the perpetration). I would also like to point out I expected to encounter issues, which is the reason why I requested to have the upgrade carried out by professionals - after I botched up a test upgrade. I also realise you guys are extremely busy. However, I don't quite agree that once the upgrade is carried out - support is then stopped and the customer/client is required to open a ticket in order for issues to be solved, especially when it's directly related to the upgrade itself. I have to do some manual invoices for membership subscriptions after doing a conversion and the way I see is to create an invoice for the product and mark it paid. But it is asking for a billing address from the admin. Obviously I do not know it. And I do not want to put fake info for this customer. Can you please change to not required for manual invoices generated by admin? Or please suggest a better way to give them this product, without their involvement, thanks.

The back button is very useful, but when filtering forums and going to a topic you can't go back to the results without "Confirm Form Resubmission" and refreshing. Can this be fixed for ease of navigation? bfarber says: Done. Suggestion: Please address for all apps that have filters. Thanks!

I found myself needing to add autocomplete="off" and autofocus attributes to a form element for a plugin, and the only way to do it was to create an entire new form helper that extends the type that I want, and a template to go with it. it would be great to be able to add 'attributes' => array ('autocomplete' => 'off', 'autofocus' => ''); in the options array, and for that to do it for me.

This would be a really useful feature. I don't know if Commerce should do this or MJ's Donation module. If you could set a % or a $ amount from a Commerce purchase to be applied to a Donation goal it would be very helpful. You don't actually have to do it with the money itself, just track the amount move the goal %. Does that make sense?

I think it would be awesome if the Recent birthdays widget had an activity cutoff. That way it will only show member's birthdays that have been active in the last X days instead of since the dawn of time where people may not have visited in forever.
