im always with odd problems so i was using portal http://community.invisionpower.com/files/file/7330-portal/ it was totally fine but then suddenly all the portal RIGHT sidebar blocks goes on bottom of my website also my ip content right sidebar bar blocks, ONLY FKIN right sidebar blocks from both portal and ip content theres no problem if i put left sidebar from ip content and portal only right sidebars its been a couple weeks i try to fix no hope at all not even official support so the problem is with portal if i disable it everything from ip content sidebars goes normal i have even tried to re build the page layouts and creating new layouts even with (MT33)Content_D…

I just successfully completed an upgrade from RC4 > RC5 without any errors. It says it was a success. Problem: Now every page in my forum is a blank white page. Nothing. http://www.phatmass.com/phorum/ I re-uploaded all files and tried again. Still blank.

Hello everyone! The current html output is the following: <img title=":smilie:" alt=":smilie:" src="smilie.gif" /> What I want to do is add a class to it: <img title=":smilie:" alt=":smilie:" src="smilie.gif" class="emoticons" /> Pretty sure this could be done by editing one of the php files, but I'm having trouble finding the correct one. How do you include an external file in the theme, from outside the IPS installation? I was told that the path of the {insert="..."} tag is relative to the IPS installation, which makes it impossible to use it to include files outside of that. Are there any other feasible ways? The IPS suite is not the main CMS on my website right now. I use WordPress with ACF for most things as the IP.Pages app does not seem to be very capable of procuding complex repeating lists of data. So far I've maintained all of the website's theme files in one place, which is in the WordPress theme folder, and I'd like to keep it that way, instead of having to store some of the files in the IP…

I would have loved to post this in the How To forum that used to exist but it was moved somewhere and I can t find it anymore. I tried duplicating the default language and then for example changing instances of Calendar to something else and nothing seems to change Only the first save gives the black popover confirmation, any further changes seem to be saved but I can t see the name Calendar changing I looked everywhere I could think and I would have expected being able to change the name somewhere in the applications section but nope halp EDIT why isnt it under Community > Settings for each app to change the name there?

This is a message displayed for a Rating & Feedback .. This one made me wonder how I can setup a " Support Staff " that only can see the Commerce - Support section without the "Performance" section that contains the feedback rating & messages .. And with this, how to limit a " Support Staff " access to all other ACP functions and settings ? A " Support Staff " will reply to support requests from members, this support staff can do this from the front-end, but I see allot of functionality is missing that the ACP support section has .. Anyone figured this step out ? .

I want to make it so that after the final upgrade all members will have the forums displayed with everything read ie no big bullets next to topics That way as soon as the forums get opened after the upgrade they will be able to see the new topics more easily Would there be a easy way to do this?

I am trying to upgrade a 3.4.7 installation to RC5 but I am getting errors. I uploaded the RC5 files over the 3.4.x and opened /admin/upgrade in my browser. First got a few errors because some directories were not writable but once I fixed that everyting seemed to check out ok. But no long long after the upgrade process started I got this. Hi I just installed RC4 on my server, and I'm trying to upload a image to profile cover. Clicking Cover Photo > Upload Photo shows the modal window, after some seconds returns the error "Something went wrong. Please try again." Is this a known bug or something happening only with me? Thank you!

we are setup and invited a couple hundred people to register for our forum as a startup. The system stopped accepting registrations after 75 people and will now only allow anyone else as a guest. Can someone please let me know where to look for the setting restricting the number of registered users?

Apparently I can t see other admins too with an EXO error which I guess is a permission error I looked at the Profiles permissions and admins are allowed to view profiles Just spent an hour checking all permissions for everything everywhere for admins and I am going mad trying to find why the hell I can t see admins profiles. I can see members profiles fine and when I mouse over my icon next to my name I see my banner. Tried to create a new database, records only (not by category), automatically create a new page, and got this: EX2 Something went wrong. Please try again. I'm a little confused by this. I see "item prefixes" - what is this? It looks like the ability to set a "primary tag" that will be shown for any given Topic/Thread. I'm not sure if I'm understanding this system correctly - it's like a user defined keyword that acts like a tag? I did a search for settings and I see none. If so, this will become abused very quickly. What's the purpose Users seem to be able to create any Topic tag they wish and run amok with 4 word "prefixes" that will dominate the look of your forums (to grab attention to their Topics.) I see an ability to put tags on/off. But I was wondering about 1) limiting tag use for each category (like prefixes should be, as I understand them). 2) limiting use of tags or categories? 3) Any controls over tags or prefixes other than "tags are on/off" and "ability to use a tag as a prefix"? I received an email from my board today with the following info: X has posted a message in a personal conversation requiring approval, X When I click 'Go to message' I am told: Sorry, there is a problem We could not locate the item you are trying to view.
