March 20, 201510 yr Is the 3306 port open in your firewall? Are your user permissions set adequately?
March 20, 201510 yr have you checked the settings of globalconf.php? is the db in the same machine? if so use 127.0.0.1 as the sql_host.
March 20, 201510 yr I am not sure i understood it. Somehow you are telling ipboard the wrong location of the mysql server, either the IP, the port, or the user/pass .You can always so submit a support ticket. IP guys can surely help you.
