I just realized (via a user not following instructions) that members in the Validating group on my board are able to subscribe and receive email updates to threads. I don't want this! How can I disable/suppress this behavior? I'm using IP.Board 3.4.6.

Having this data from above post .. and using the XML brings me a new database, fields, templates, .. Creating an extra page, like articles.html (default with new IPS install) and using the menu for selecting that new page (in my case I named it features.html) .. Creating some extra test records to fill the database .. and in the end .. I get a black page .. Although my features.html new page is same as Articles.html, with another database of course .. I should to have at least headings and footer basic page stuff visible .. but nada .. also browser page info doesn't give any source code .. so .. How do I ........ ? .

a checkbox set that has several items checked displays them in a return separated order item A item B item C but that doesn't work in a lot of areas it makes thing un necessarily long (especially if you have a dozen items ) I want to make the the format to be comma separated: item A, item B, item C

What I'm trying to do is to hide a post bit element from certain forums (let's say with id's 1,2,3,4 and 5). I understand that this element should be wrapped in "if" tags that would check what forum this topic is, but I've no idea what this tag should look like. Any help?

hi, i like how we can now easily add our own custom create/edit form. so what is the easy way to modify it to include wizard like form ? there is helper class in the system folder under the helpers folder called wizard.php but i'm not sure how or if we can use it to achieve the same goals with ip.pages

Hey everyone, I am new to ip.board loving it so far! I recently hired someone to create some content for me... I don't quite know how to add all the .css .js .html they created so I just wanted to add them as an admin with limited permissions as a content creator. They are currently signed up and I have them as a admin (I haven't told them yet) and I was adding some permissions to their account, but I dont know exactly what to give them in order to do the job but not have too much access. Does anyone have a template for this? Also, do they just log in same way I do, site.com/admin with their creds? Thank you, Micah

I sell some electronics that if bought in large quantities get a discount on the whole total. Here is an example: 1-4 $279 a piece 5-9 $219 a piece 10-35 $199 a piece So 4 would cost a total of (4*$219) $876 and not (4*$279) $1,116 Right now I don't see a way to accomplish this with Commerce but if there is a way let me know.

By default, the submit new article button appears within each category, and the article is then automatically placed in that category. However, is it possible to have a "universal" submit article button on the main page that allows the user to select (with a drop down menu) which category the article will be submitted to?
