Hello, switched recently from vB 4 to IPB 4. I try to find a way to bulk import our list of over 600 banned email addresses. I definitely don't want to enter one email adress after another. Any hints?

Hi there! We're using ipboard for internal forums, and want to use the ecommerce support module for office related task requests - IT and office management things. It would be really useful if everyone could see the full list of support requests from the forum tab, not just their own submitted ones Does anyone have any idea how to make this possible? thanks!

What happened to the Gallery permissions on 4.x? In 3.x I could go to any category and set member level permissions stating that they had the ability to move, edit, delete, rename.....but in 4.x I can't seem to find that functionality? EDIT: I just knew I would find it after posting about it! They moved it to under Members > Moderators > Usergroup > Gallery Tab

After reading the help guide I was trying to figure how to make certain CSS change various forum pages specifically. For example, I wanted to change the logo based on which forum ID you were visiting; i.e. if the viewer was reading a list of topics in forum ID 2; they'd see one a different logo from all the other pages. For most of the day https://thesandtrap.com/discover/6/ (my personal favorite stream), /discover/unread/, and the other /discover/something/ stuff hasn't worked for me. It works sometimes but most of the time I get a blank white page. https://thesandtrap.com/discover/ does work. I asked 15 other members and tried other browsers with my daughter's account and a friend's account, and the URLs work for them. It's just my account, for some reason. Clearing cached data, disabling plugins, resetting the theme… none of that matters. I'm not opposed to looking at the database and tweaking something. Testing functionality on my site. How do I know when I receive a support request? I don't get an email, I don't get any notifications, I don't even get a number indicating a request on the Commerce tab. The only way I notice anything is if I drill down in Commerce and I see a badge for Support Request. When I reply back to a support request, my test user will get an email. I get an email if I click the "Contact Us" link. ===== My test user only gets an email. No notification or badge indicator on the Support tab. Is that normal?

So far as I can tell, when you're a mod / admin, the only way to edit a topic title while browsing is to long-click on the title itself. This doesn't work on mobile though (at least not on iOS)... is there another method? Note that I am specifically referring to editing a topic by another user, I know editing your own first post actually gives you a topic text box.

Can anyone give me some quick instructions on getting Cloudflare to work with the S3 hosting option? I've asked support twice now and their answers are basically, use CloudFront, and we don't support third-party applications. I understand what Cloudfront is and I don't want to use it.

After upgrading my server's PHP version, some settings changed and now I get logged out of AdminCP very quickly, like within 60 minutes. It used to keep me logged in for days. Can you tell me which PHP setting I need to change to increase the session length? The odd thing is, when logging into the forum (not the AdminCP specifically) I'm kept logged in for days without a problem. So there seem to be two different settings for this.

I must have changed something in the CSS or templates to cause this but after hours of searching, I cannot find it! Basically, this icon should appear on the same line as the Title. This is happening at several locations throughout the suit. If somebody could take a look that would be brilliant! The badges have been changed somewhere for my custom "Review" pages template but that should not be affecting topic titles etc. I'm a little lost on this one. Hi there, On the pre ipb4 version it was possible to change the Who's Online feature so that it calculates the number of member from the last hour instead of the last 15 min. Is it possible to modify that on the IPB4 version? Thanks

Hello IPB boards, I am an old user of the IPB software. In the older board software you had an option to delete a topic, but it was send to the garbage bin in the forum, instead of deleted. Is this still in version 4.x or is this a plugin? I do not want to remove 100% topic, but save them on another location. Thanks, Jack

I have created a forum for support, where only the topic poster and admin/moderators can see the question asked in that forum. I did this using the option when setting up the forum: Forum Settings/Permissions/Users can see questions asked by other users? I have given access to this forum to Admins and Moderators and set up the required permissions, but no matter what I do, only admins can see the questions and not the moderators. Maybe someone could point me in the right direction as to why this is happening please? Thanks,

Weirdly, this error cropped up today 'Your IP address does not match this session'. I have deleted my browsers files, cache, cookies - the lot. No difference, I have tried alternative browsers on my laptop and I have the same issue. So I tried logging in via my mobile and I managed to get in (this is on the same internet connection as my laptop). I've restarted my machine and I'm still unable to bypass the annoying message. In the end I enabled 'Trust IP addresses provided by proxies?' via my mobile and I was able to proceed, however I am a little unsure if this is actually safe to do. Hello, I've changed the category names and URLs for a lot of articles, and now have lots of internal links pointed to the wrong URL. I've done a 301 Redirect, but would like to change all of the URLs in the forum_post table of the database. My forums are down as I am trying to upgrade from 4.1.15 to 4.1.18.1 and it asks for my license key. I copy it from the client area and paste it in and it says invalid license key. Any ideas?
