Sorry, I'm not convinced that it would be something worth working on for the general product. I don't see that it's something that many customers would want/need.
I would recommend submitting a support ticket (see the support info in the file listing), I cannot reproduce what you are seeing.

I've just pushed out a new version with a fix for this. It also includes some other fixes and support for the third party sparkpost applications that are in the marketplace.

There are no known issues with the current version and Invision Community 4.4

It'll be supported from the next release. @AlexWebsites had a pre-release of that code, however it was still finding the 'stock' sparkpost api key setting before seeing that a third party application was present with an api key. I've changed that so it'll work properly (and as I note, be in the next release).

It's potentially on the radar, to be honest I haven't yet seen enough demand for Amazon SES to dedicate the development time to implementing it and supporting it.
 
 
 
I will consider it, it goes against one of the original ideas behind the app in that it is not something you need to configure for it to work. You install it and it just works if you use one of the supported services already.

It sounds like you may be just typing a title in rather than selecting a result in the autocomplete. If there are any matching results, it'll suggest possible matches and you need to click on one to select.

You may be better to contact me privately about doing this as a custom addon, I haven't had any demand for it. It doesn't really make sense to implement for one user, sorry.
Yep, it should do. It'll automatically detect if your SMTP settings are configured for SparkPost (I will test before 4.3 is released and push an update if I need to).
Nope, it'll automatically detect the change and set up the SendGrid API.

Just chiming in that I'd also be interested in Amazon SES/SNS. Following plugin and will purchase the moment it's available. Great-looking plugin, by the way.

I hear you, I'll look at ways of making it more obvious. It's a requirement of how the application integrates with any content type (it can work with items that aren't topics for example).
Check your profile templates for modifications, it's likely that they're out of date and need updating for 4.2

I haven't had a support ticket from any one for this issue yet and my own sites that have been using SparkPost are not showing this issue. Please submit one as soon as possible. I am on vacation next week.

There's going to be a new version for IPS 4.1.19.4 that includes SendGrid support (I'm testing the implementation at the moment). There's going to be a follow up release that purely addresses 4.2 compatibility (including SendGrid support). Both of these versions will also include some other changes, such as being able to tell you if there is an issue connecting to the remote APIs. Compatibility with FCGI/Nginx environments where the Authorization header isn't passed to PHP is improved.
The current version of Mail Bouncer will not work with Bulk Mail on the 4.2 Betas.

Yes, you should be able to pass type ( 0 = buyer, 1 = seller, 2 = trade/swap ) and content_id in the query string now.

An update is available in the Market Place, this includes support for Invision Community 4.2

I'd like to purchase but also need 4.2 compatibility. Subscribed so I can see when it's added.
