Well if you are crossing those two off the list I'll put my money on Quill (I'm coming down from the NHL trade deadline so still in a betting mood lol)

We are looking into this, and trying to ascertain information. Unfortunately, while I understand its frustrating, if we cant replicate an issue the only option we have is to explore what other items may be causing the issue. 
In terms of the hosting provider/third party issues, the reason we explore that first of all, is that these are very often the cause. I assure you, it's of no interest to us in any way to prolong the support experience.

1. If you are using cloudflare, make sure is not proxied. ( For me this was a problem, not showing the css at all, I use custom Nginx protection and it was fighting with Cloudflare, by disabling proxied, worked again ).
2. Data-Store path is incorrect.
- What I did? Logged in AdminCP, and tried to find "clear caches" it was hard but I did it, after that some of the CSS came back so to say and I updated the data-store path and everything worked again.

Follow these links to update data-store path:

I would suggest contacting your hosting company on this issue, as they would be the best to advise you in this case

This will be fixed in our next release. This is the solution we ended up applying:

I would not recommend you use it this way.

It's fixed, yeah we updated the handler from ACP => System => Files => Storage Settings => Configurations => Create New

The user there is being denied by our Spam Defense system. If this is yourself testing registration or you trust the individual registering, you will want to add the details in the Spam Defense Whitelist in ACP -> Members -> Spam Prevention.

As you may know, Invision Community 5 is currently in development, and progress has been great, with many areas starting to come together.
Almost all of the significant code restructuring has been completed, with much progress on the UI and the new theme bearing fruit. A fair few new features are complete, but some aren't quite ready to show, as they need a little love from Ehren.
I wanted to share a little teaser of Invision Community 5; how many new things or changes can you spot?

Please remember that the features, functionality and UI shown in this little teaser are pre-beta, so they are subject to change. The features and functionality shown here aren't all that has been completed; many new features are 'code-complete' but waiting for some UI polish before we're ready to share more. Essentially, what you're seeing is a work in progress.
We don't have a release timeframe in mind yet, but we'll let you know when we do!

I hear you 100% but we are not the arbiters of human habits, we just respond to them.
There are loads of old forums still busy but the bulk of those members and that content was generated a decade ago and they are kept alive by an older member base and probably good authority with Google bringing people in for short transactional exchanges.
We have a responsibility to you and our other customers to keep driving forward, it is pretty relentless. The worst thing we could do is just continue doing the same things and we lose marketshare and your community stagnates and goes into a slow decline.
Communities are more complex than a basic forum and very few have the patience to click loads of links in the hopes of having good content to read.
v5 will help with transactional content (I need an answer to this problem) and more social content (Lets discuss Thing) as well as content discovery.

Yeah. But if you take a second to think about it, first thing when people are installing their suite will immediately search for those plugins, but when uploading they get errors cuz the plugins are out of date. Thats Why i think this should be added. Anyway, I’m not running Invisioncommunity, I’m not part of the management staff or such. But please speak with your management team and consider adding those. It would be a life savior for all of us!

i don’t know if the controller or the module is correct. But press on inspect when you are on your front page, and on the body tag just look for page controller and pagemodule and replace them in the conditions above if not correct. So this code will only show that template on the homepage.

It says clearly that there is an installation of their software with your license on another web. Remove the installation from the old web and try again. And also, press "Change Licensed URL".

You cannot have 2 installations of IPS Software on 2 different websites. 
You can have 1 main installation and also 1 test installation.
Example:
www.yourcommunity.com - would be the main one.
www.yourcommunity.com/test - would be the test installation.

I did it:

As Nathan said, make sure you're using a CodeMirror editor type, eg.
$form->add( new \IPS\Helpers\Form\Codemirror( 'theme_simple_header_settings', $this->custom_header, FALSE, [ 'mode' => 'htmlmixed', 'height' => 400 ] ) );  

If I read the above correctly, you will want to be using a Codemirror helper, and not a Text helper.
A quick look at system\Theme\Theme.php for the theme_simple_header_settings and theme_simple_footer_settings fields gives the answer.
