@Matt, do you have any deadline for the applications? Also, can you clarify what is meant by "part-time", is it strictly 4h per day or it can be 2h today, 10h tomorrow, etc? Vacation days, perks, etc. would also be appreciated to not waste both our and your time.

I will use it in one of mine for sure.

1. I agree with @Abies to make this board-specific.  
2. Will you turn this on in your own community? Asking for a friend.  And every IPS client who has ever posted in the feedback forum.  
3. Parity of apps - will we see this badge on other apps? 

How about doing patch releases on a regular schedule, such as on the first Tuesday of each month? That way, people can predict and plan for the work that will be needed (which for patch releases, with no new features or breaking changes, should be pretty minimal), and we get a reasonable cadence of bug fixes.
Features should be released in minor releases (4.6 etc). Personally, I would be happy to see more frequent but smaller feature releases, say every 6 months with a couple of changes each time, as long as the scope of a release is fairly clear (ie. there are no breaks in a patch release like 4.5.5) and it doesn't affect the cadence of bug fixes (so we're not waiting 1.5mo and counting for bug fixes).

In my case, I would use it but only for chosen forums [not globally].
For forums like news, feedback, contacting the mods I find it useful. But for Chit-Chat-like forum it would be unnecessary. Thanksfully we can set in CSS where to display the badge and where to hide it. 🙂

Finally someone who supports this feature in their core software! Great addition and much needed especially for support forums.

Two things I'm still waiting :
Ability to comment on answers. Quoting doesn't suit well on Q&A format. Q2A Importer - I'll be fine without this, as long as there's #1. Right now I'm stuck with Q2A (which has a very very slow pace of development) because there are no other better alternatives.

The ACP statistics have already a timeframe filter.

 

1. For the User Profile enhancements, this new type of Answer prestige can be better integrated into the rest of the suite.  In particular, on postbits and hovercards.   
2. For the ACP Statistics, these statistics are tied to changeable timeframes?  For example: Last Week, Last Month, Custom Timeframe, etc.

Don't worry, Invision Community is in very capable hands. While I co-founded the company 20 years ago, we've come a long way since then. Along the way, we've hired some extremely smart developers who do the bulk of coding now. I still work on features and help direct the product, but I spend less time in a code editor these days, and that's a great thing. 

I enjoy writing, and if one person gets a little value or inspiration from a blog article, then it's been worthwhile. 
Really soon. A soft release helps us narrow down critical issues before we roll it out to all customers.

We are trying to break away from large monolithic releases spaced 12-18 months apart which leaves long periods of time devoid of any significant new functionality.

In terms of demand for this feature, it's been requested a lot for our enterprise communities for quite some time.
