JakobP, and he finally managed to upload the issue a while later in that post: https://www.logicprohelp.com/forums/topic/142531-is-there-a-way-to-make-a-wetdry-knob-for-logics-modulator/#comment-826165

You can add share images in your admin CP by visiting Customisation->Appearance->Icons and logos
Thanks. However here I've set up an og:image in the meta tags, that's the one I want to be displayed.

Just now, Matt said:
We can look at this a little.
The -600 error is "too large", so it looks like it's not failing gracefully if the image is larger than the allowed space via their member group permissions.
The max image size is 2000 kB per content item and the user was trying to write a one line answer along with a single image.
-
I contacted the user to ask what happened, he said:
QuoteI clicked "choose files..." and selected the screenshot from the desktop, got an error saying the file was too big (initially it was around 1.8 mb) and that the size limit was 763 kb or similar... Resized it to 1.2 mb but got the same error. Tried again a while later and it worked...

I shared a link to a page (built using Pages) on Facebook but the og:image does not show up on Facebook. When I use the sharing debugger on Meta I see:
Missing Properties The following required properties are missing: fb:app_id
Does that mean I need to create a Facebook app so that I can add an og:app_id to the page before the image will show up in Facebook?

Now a new user has reported having issues uploading an image again. Here's what I found in the log:

I would say this is indeed likely to be the case. Ask the user to clear their browser cache. I can see from the image there that things are not all loading, which may indicate they are having connection issues
Ok thanks.

Have you tried uploading the same image this member is trying? Do you get the same error?
I tried the same image and did not get any errors, it uploaded normally.
Here's the image and I filled out the ACP access information.

Thanks!

Most of our members upload images on a regular basis without a problem, yet one member has problems uploading .png screenshots to our community. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't work for him. He sent me the image he was trying to upload and I was able to upload it without any issues.
Here's what he is seeing:
Here's the log in my system:

Thank you Jim!
Yes there are some changes in the templates.
I will try what you suggested (apps/plug-ins disabled and unmodified theme).
30 minutes ago, Jim M said:Could you please update these details by visiting your client area, selecting the relevant purchase, then clicking "Review/Update Access Information" under the "Stored Access Information" section.
I'm updating the details, should I create a new admin account for that or just put in my own log in information there?
Also what is "Admin CP .htaccess"?
Thank you!

I looked at my log and I get 6 to 10 "Error: Call to a member function rfc3339() on null (0)" a day. Any idea what they are? Here's the latest one:

I am building pages using the Page Builder:Text widget. How can I embed YouTube videos inside that widget?
Thanks!
Answer:
- Go to the YouTube page of the video you want to embed,
- Click SHARE .
- From the list of Share options, click Embed.
- From the box that appears, copy the HTML code.
- Paste the code into your website HTML.

No, not at all. While significant, it's not generally irreversible, and will be resolved once the cron resumes.
Pfffew. Thanks @Marc Stridgen

If you are unsure on what the setting does, and its in that section, you probably shouldnt touch that.
Ok, thank you Marc.

I have one main forum where 90% of the new topics belong, and several more specific, lesser used forums for more advanced users.
I wish I could set up the Start New Topic button on the main forums page to skip the forum chooser (which confuses most of our visitors anyway who end up posting in the wrong forum) and instead post directly in our main forum. It's easier for moderators to occasionally move the rare topics that don't belong in the main forum than to constantly move topics that are posted in the wrong forum back to the main forum.

... AND after fixing the cron job, the view numbers are back. Thanks! 😃
-
Thanks so much. So it was related to me moving the forum software from domainname.com/forum/ to domainname.com yesterday. The cron job still had an old domainname.com/forum/ URL inside so I changed it to the one suggested by the Invision Community software and now notifications are working again and Submit Reply is snappy again.
Once again, thank you so much @Marc Stridgen for all your help sleuthing these issues. I would have never have found out this issue without your help. 😃
Still worried about that message "When this setting is enabled you MUST ensure that the cron is set up properly. If this setting is turned on but no cron is set up it will cause significant damage to your site."
Is it possible that I've caused significant damage to my site? 😬
-
Since yesterday, the newer topics on my forum show 0 views??

You would switch to "Use Cron" and set up cron on your server as shown in th emessage below it. If you are not sure how to set up a cron job on your server, you will need to contact your hosting company on this
I didn't change anything before taking that last screenshot, so "Use cron (Recommended)" is already selected, and the cron was already set up.

In my Admin panel under "Email Error Logs" it says "There are no results to display."
Do I need to create an app to share links on Facebook?
in Technical Problems
Posted
The URL I'm trying to share is https://www.logicprohelp.com/logic-pro-book/ and I entered a different og:image:secure_url using Invision Community's Live Meta Tag Editor.
The debugger shows the correct image (https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/?q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.logicprohelp.com%2Flogic-pro-book). I shared the same URL again using another Facebook account and it showed the correct image.
My problem is that when I share the same URL on one of my business pages on Facebook, it shows a blank image.
I suppose that since the FB debugger shows the correct image, the issue has nothing to do with Invision Community.
