  1. Hello, Is it possible no to send bulk email to users who have purchased a certain product? I can't see the option in the Bulk Email module in ACP. Members buy certain products and I want to send emails with links to certain posts IGNORING those user groups that have EVER purchased a product. I can't see that option. It's a critical one because I am sending emails to promote certain features and I am using the MEMBER user group. There are a couple of critical issues if it's not possible: Once the user cancels his subscription after purchasing product X, his user group will be reverted to MEMBER and he will receive emails again. And that's not what I want because he will be reading an email directed to users that did not purchase. I am using secondary groups to move users to the user groups created for each product since they can buy more than one different product. So, everyone belongs to the MEMBER user group and everyone receive emails that are not addressed to them (selling something they already have purchased and whose membership they probably cancelled Thanks
  2. Thanks Marc. I've changed the permissions for the Default template a couple of times, as explained in a previous reply. But after a while the permissions are reseted and I can see Default theme with ALL the tick boxes checked again. That's why you can see that now, I guess. Now, I see administrator is the ONLY user group that can see the DEFAULT them. Then I logged in as a non-admin with a dummy user called dummyuser and I still can see the two themes 😞 See screenshot. So, I returned to ACP and I can see that the Default's permission has been reverted AGAIN to ALL user groups 😞 There is something wrong going on here. The permissions are not saved and they are reverted all the time. So I can see both themes as a choice again. I pasted the screenshots in real-time as they happened. I am not dreaming. I've done this like 3 times and the permissions are not saved.
  3. Any user... for example embry228 There is another issue I logged out as administrator. Signed in again and I see the non-default theme as well. I do not set the default IPS Default theme, I had to select it from the pencil icon in the toolbar.
  4. Thanks a lot Marc, but I still have the same issue there. I did what you suggested before I submitted this help request. Edited the Default theme, set members' permission to Admin only. I did it again. See screenshot. I've set IPS default as the default theme for everyone. However, I still have the same issues: When I sign in as a user: The user will see two themes to choose from The user is seeing the old non-default template The user's usergroup I signed in with is NOT an admin and he still can see the theme selection (two themes) and the default theme is NOT being displayed. I tried it a few times and it doesn't work. Thanks
  5. Hello, I switched IPS default theme to check a couple of issues happening with PHP 8.0. I set it as the default theme and also made it the default for all user groups. To my surprise, when I sign in a username to check what they see, I can see that: The user's template will not be the default one I selected for them on ACP And the user will be able to select between two different themes How can I hide the theme selection from the user? One of them contacted me right now asking me about this change. I've set IPS default as default but when I sign in as the user: He will not see IPS default theme, the user is still seeing the non-default "default theme". I set IPS default as default. See screenshot below. He will see two themes in the toolbar, as you can see in the screenshot above I want the users to use the default theme I chose and I do not want them to have a choice between two themes. I don't know what I am doing wrong. Thanks
  6. Good day @All Astronauts Trust you are doing well. I'm having a weird issue with Spacious ACP and PHP 8.0 compatibility. The support tool in ACP won't throw any error for Spacious ACP app but it's causing problems. Let me explain what I did exactly. I switched to PHP 8.0. "Everything seems to be working fine", both ACP and the frontend After a few seconds or a couple of minutes, I will see a 500 error in the frontend or IPS warning The funny thing about it is that I will still be able to use ACP sometimes, others I won't. I then tried this: Switched back to PHP 7.4 Disabled Spacious ACP Switched to PHP 8.0 Now the website works Once I enable Spacious ACP I will get a 500 error after some time. I will still be able to use ACP sometimes. If I disable Spacious ACP while running PHP 8.0, the 500 error in the frontend will NOT be fixed. I will need to revert to PHP 7.4 to have the site running smoothly again. It's a weird issue but it definitely must be Spacious ACP that is causing this issue since I once I enable/disable it, I won't have that issue. Hopefully, my explanation suffices to find and fix this issue. I've returned to 7.4, I just can't use PHP 8.0 with Spacious ACP running. Thanks so much.

  8. I've located the problem. The issue is caused by a great plugin that let us send a test email from the bulk mail module... a VERY useful function that should be built-in. If the plugin is enabled, the attachments won't be displayed in the emails received. Thanks a lot
  9. What do you mean exactly by sending the email to myself via the software and not via a third party plugin? I am sending it using sendgrid which is correctly configured in ACP and support it by IPS. Do you mean that I should disable send grade as well? What do you mean by disabling any third party applications or plugins? Do you mean disabling all of them or any related to sending emails?
  10. Image available pubicly? I just uploaded the unage abd inserted it in the editor. The email is sent to the MEMBER user group. I sent myself (admin) the enail and I could not the attachment either. The name of the bullk email is the last one, long-term sell off. I tested the bulj email before sending it with a free plugin created by @Ahmed Zaied the email is sent but attachment not seen. Thanks
  11. Hello, I am using the bulk email to communicate with certain user groups. I inserted a small 600 pixels wide image in the message but the image is not seen when using my desktop email application on back or loading my emails on Gmail using Chrome or GMAIL app on my mobile. The image is not displayed hidden. I am running version 4.7.2.1 (latest one) See attachment. I can see the image place holder in the email that I received. Checked it on my phone, tablet and desktop devices. The attached image is never seen. What am I doing wrong? Is this a known issue? Thanks a lot

  13. Thanks a lot. On my side, it happens every day all the time. I "got used" to it but it should not be like that. I see the stream of new unread posts. I start from the first or from the middle. Sometimes it just stops once the stream of a certain user's posts ends Others, it will continue until X and not display the NEXT UNREAD TOPIC link As I said, it happens every day a few times. Thanks a lot.
  14. Nope. I spend less than 5-10 seconds on each post. They are just images I need to correct. It's impossible that I spend even one minute 😞 It has happened today 3-4 times again. I read a few new posts.. then the last post of USER X was reached and the next 10-12 unread posts were NOT detected and the next unread topic did not show up. It happens every day 😞

  16. I agree. It's just insane. They did NOT warn us. They are developers, so they can fix their own issues. IPS cannot just disable and lock without prior warning. Had I known, I would have not upgraded to 4.7.2 and would have contacted the developers BEFORE upgrading. Please, IPS, you should allow us to enable those applications temporarily until the developers make them compatible. You didn't warn us, you have to create a functionality to let us re-enable them.

  18. Good day @rebraf Hope you are doing well. I just wanted to let you know that the Drip Campaigns application does not work with the newly release version 4.7.2. The application has been disabled and locked because it's incompatible with PHP 8.0. I do not have 8.0 installed in my community, but ACP locked the application, and now the drip emails won't be sent since the application has been disabled. Would you be so kind as to fix the issues and submit the new version to the marketplace? I rely on these emails for newcomers and other user groups and now the emails are not being sent. Thanks so much for such a great app.

  20. Good day, I just upgraded to 4.7.2 final and I cannot see the MEMBER VIEW of any user on ACP. I can see the customer view, but not the member view. I click on the users icon on ACP /admin/?app=core&module=members&controller=members I will see a template error whenever I click on a username. That has never ever happened with any of the previous versions. Never got a template error in ACP because the only things that the programmer ever modified was the templates in the frontend, never touched anything in ACP. [[Template core/admin/memberprofile/tabTemplate is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme.]] Thanks

Hello, I just installed 4.7.2 and to my surprise I can see there are a few applications that have been locked and my community is no longer working as expected 😞 I mean, the system is locking the applications. I haven't been able to install PHP 8 yet and now I find that certain KEY applications and locked and my community is not working as it should. I know you are locking for security reasons, next PHP 8 update, but there are will be many that will need time for the upgrade for various reasons. Locking the applications and NOT allowing to turn them on again is insane 😞 Now, my community is not working properly 😞 Why? Because, I rely on certain applications that are key to my community. For instance: The Tutorials system that @Adriano Faria created are KEY to my community. Now, it's gone 😞 The Newsletters application from @HeadStand The VideoBox application from @onlyME The drip campaigns from @rebraf So now my community cannot: Display the tutorials Display hundreds of videos Cannot send newsletters and cannot send the emails in the drip campaigns I mean, this is insane. You should WARN users, not LOCK applications. You are rendering my community USELESS with these changes. When the update happens, the script should have said BEFORE proceeding..... Hey, we checked your applications and the following ones "......" will be locked and disable if you proceed with the upgrade. Contact with the developers BEFORE you proceed. But no, IPS installs the upgrade and now I am f****. Why? I mean, it's insane. You just cannot do that without prior warning and don't tell me to read the posts in the community lounge, that would be even more insane. I should have been warned that those applications are going to be locked PRIOR to the upgrade. How can I fix this then? I will have to contact the developers, they will take time to fix the applications and IPS will take even more time to approve the submissions. It's insane. I believe that the new 4.7.2 update has NOT been done logically and properly. I am seriously affected and I am pretty sure that I won't be the only one. You didn't warn about the applications that were going to be disabled and LOCKED. Ok, IPS forum works because you are not using apps from the Marketplace, but since you created the marketplace in the first place, you MUST WARN those who have installed those applications that the marketplace supports. You must warn users before they install a new forum version if the upgrade will disable and lock certain applications that could be critical for other users. IPS has its own developers, 99% of your clients won't. So, locking and disabled the apps without warning BEFORE the UPDATE button is pressed is INSANE 😞 Isn't there a way to re-enable them? Don't tell me to restore a backup. That wouldn't fix the issue that 4.7.2 update logic is wrong because it does NOT work that your community could be f**** if you proceed with the upgrade 😞 Thanks
  23. It happened again now, second time in the same day. There were a bunch of unread messages. I was using the next unread topic link, and then I reached a post without the link at the bottom. See screenshot. Topic URL /topic/30345-bullish-tl-351/ The I go to the unread stream and I see there are new posts. Four new posts.. See screenhot. /discover/unread
  24. It happens to me almost every day. I start reviewing the unread messages, the stream stops and I can't see the next unread message. I then click on the unread stream and I see there are a bunch of them still unread. It happens almost every day. Not always, but it happens very often as I explained in detail in my previous posts. It's a common thing, not a rare one. When it happens again, I will try to document it step by step with screenshots.
