  3. @shahed I tried to add a couple of custom links. it seems that it works. The problem I am having now is the height of the menu navigation. I mean, is there a way to change how heigh/wide it is? I tried to add this text "Hot Ideas" and it won't fit. It will be displayed in two lines and the second line won't be seen on my mobile, it will be cut in half. Is there a way to have two lines in each button and display it correctly? Is there a way to change the height of the button layer? See attachment. I can't see the two words.

  5. @shahed I just updated the new Mobile Navigation plugin updated for 4.7 with the new features, but I still have the same problem 😞 😞 I cannot edit the main links in the main navigation with the links to custom areas on my community. I am still forced to use the ones included. The thing is that I see it's possible to dd alternative link URLs, but it's only possible when the link is disabled 😞 I don't understand how it works, I see it as counter-intuitive. I want to have only 5 icons, the main ones. I want them to link to 5 specific areas on my community. Is that possible? If so, how would I accomplish that? I don't want to use the additional links icon row, just the main one. Thanks
  6. I will check that out then. The same questions remains. How do I know which plugin is incompatible? I don't know which plugin the file ID belongs to. I guess ACP knows, it's just not telling us which one. Can this be suggested as an addition?
  7. Where should I check exactly for these errors? Error logs System logs Error logs report. These errors are not recent, they are the last ones from more than a month ago. Some plugins that may have not been updated to 4.7 yet and are running in the system How do I know which third party plugin is the one not working according to the error logs? When I click on ERROR URL, ACP will not tell me which plugin it is 😞 Shouldn't it say at least tell us which one it is? The URL does not give me a clue, I can see a file ID but how do I know which plugin it is? admin/?app=core&module=marketplace&controller=marketplace&do=viewFile&id=9784 Shouldn't the error show the plugin name that is giving the error and be more user-friendly? ACP knows the file ID is 9784, so shouldn't it be easy to show an error with the exact plugin name. Right now, I just don't know which one it is. File 9784. Who knows! Thanks a lot
  8. It seems that the developer is missing in combat. No updates on his plugins. I have a few of his excellent plugins running on my community. Hopefully @ReyDevwill update them. He's a great developer and his support has always been excellent.
  9. Jim, I've done what you requested. Uploaded IPS4.PHP file to FTP. The one I downloaded from Updated from 7.4 to PHP 8 in CPNEL Run IPS4.PHP file to check server's requirements for PHP8. The check is all green and I still get error 500 when PHP 8 is installed 😞 See attachment. I don't know what to do next. The text I can read does not say anything about php 8, only about IPS 4.7 installation.
  10. Thank you. Please, work on the patch as you've done previously many other times. Going back to the previous backup will make me lose hundreds of posts from today with hundreds of images that cannot be recovered since backups are made every 24h at 2am. I've learned the lesson, won't install betas anymore, that's for sure. But right now I just can't lose some much information from today and it's not a CSS problem. I can't even work right now since images won't be seen, old and new ones. Thanks
  11. In hundreds of topics.. You just look at all activity streams, all of them fail. This one... topic/104-usdjpy-updates/page/4/ with my community's URL. All images gone in 200 posts. New topics today... topic/25045-homework95-double-swings/
  12. Not only that, many old posts aren't showing any images 😞 there is something wrong introduced in this update. Hundreds of posts and topics don't display any image 😞
  13. Hello, Please fix a serious bug introduced in 4.7.1 beta 2 😞 After the upgrade, uploaded images cannot be seen 😞 I can see the placeholder for the image but the image is not displayed. Old images can be seen, new ones can't. Please fix this issue 😞 It's critical 😞 new images won't be seen 😞 I tried it several times and nothing:( see attachment.
  14. Changing to the default theme will not fix the problem. Will try disabling the third party applications/plugins.
  15. Hello, I am unable to hide item categories in the search box. I don't even how how all those options are available in the dropdown 😞 How can I control what appears in the dropdown 😞 I have no clue why they are there or why topics, records, are displayed three times. Can anyone help me out with this? I never asked ACP to add anything there, so I guess there must be somewhere where I can tell ACP to NOT display certain item categories there.   17. Weird, I can't see that on my side. I can see the pin and featured icons, but not the scheduled icon. See attachment. When I am inside the topic, same thing. But I can see this comment... Comments are disabled for future topics.
  18. Hello, I just installed 4.7.1 beta 1 to obtain the scheduled topic option to publish new topics at a later date. I am testing the functionality and I have big doubt. There is no way, as an admin, to see which posts are scheduled to be published in few hours or maybe in a couple of day. The scheduled topic is indistinguishable from a normal topic. Isn't there a way to distinguish them? I will be using this functionality a lot, but as an admin I will not know which ones are published and which ones are not 😞 At least, I didn't see an option or an icon to distinguish it from normal topics. Google Mail does the job pretty well by adding an "scheduled button" as the one attached. Is there a way to add this little thing to improve this great functionality you just added? A little tiny clock icon next to the topic and maybe a tooltip indicating the scheduled time on hover? Thanks
  19. Thanks a lot for your detailed explanation. I will have other courses soon, therefore the primary secondary approach won't be a good idea. I will need secondary user groups. The way I've it now is as you described; two products, one with support, another one without it. This approach does not work as I expect because when the supported version of the product is canceled, the user will lose access to the course. Imagine, you buy a course, you should have unlimited access to it. If the product includes renewals, the user will lose access if the renewal is canceled because there I no way to revoke access from a selected secondary or primary group. The privileges are revoked from all the user groups as explained in ACP settings.
  20. I thought I had explained, maybe I didn't explain myself correctly. I really appreciate you taking the time to answer my doubts even though you are not part of IPS staff. Very much appreciated! Kudos! Right now, I am using a product that has renewals. I charge an initial $X price and then monthly renewals at $Y. I don't know how to create a bundle 😞 I asked support a few weeks ago and I understood that bundles are not possible. This is what I want. I don't know wether it's possible with products or subscriptions, or a combination of both. Imagine this scenario: User adds a course to the cart. He should have the possibility to choose support for Q&A about the course If support renewal is added then it will be added to the cart together with the course. If not, then only the course will be added and the user won't be able to ask questions Primary user group will change to "course" if the course is purchased Secondary group "monthly support" would be added to the secondary group if support is chosen If user cancels the support subscription, the secondary group privileges will be revoked The user will still have access to the primary group that grants him access to reading the course in a page module that I created with your page app @opentype I am currently using products with renewals and I can't make it work with that configuration. I am willing to change my configuration but I need to know how this setup could be created. I just want users to: Buy a course (Optionally) buy monthly support (renewal) that will grant him access to a private channel/forum where he can ask questions if he cancels the monthly renewal support, he should NOT lose access to the course's primary group Thanks so much
  21. I am always using the products module, not the subscription one. I am not sure whether I can create this combo of course + support using maybe the product+ subscription module. It would be great if someone from the IPS team could tell me if this is possible and how. Thanks
  22. Thanks for taking the time to reply. I understand the current functionalities, but I can't make what I need. This is what I want to do: 1. User signs up to buy a course. He will be assigned the primary group course and a secondary group called course _support 2. Users will have access to the course page created preciselu with one of @opentypepages app. They will always have access to it since they purchased the course. So the privileges gained by the primary group should never be revoked 3. The user will also be assigned to a secondary group course_support that will give him access to ask questions about the course as long as he is paying the monthly renewal fee. The thing is that IF the user cancels the renewals, he will lose access to EVERYTHING including the primary group which granted him access to the course page 😞 The access is revoked from both the primary and secondary groups. I believe there is no option to remove a user from either the primary or the secondary group. Now when the user cancels the monthly renewal and he will loss access to the course page and everything. I would love to do that but I can't see how I would be accomplish this: 1. User buys a course 2. User buys monthly support renewals 3. User cancels monthly renewal but he should still have access to the course in the primary group Is there a way to create this scenario? thanks
  23. Hello, I was wondering wether there is a way to SUGGEST a product in the registration process. There is a way to associate products, but in my humble opinion, its logic and the way of displaying associated products and the use of a popup is not correct. So, my question is... Can the registration process suggest any associated products in a clear and step by step way as when a flight is reserved when the airline is offering optional related products? I can't see that on IPS and it would be awesome to have it. There is the possibility of associating products, but it goes against common sense the way it's been implemented and display to the user in the frontend. I just want the user to: Select the product they want If any associated product is found, the associated products will be displayed next (as optional or compulsory) in the next step, but not in a popup The user should be able to go back and choose any of the associated products if he didn't choose in the previous step I just can't see how to do this of whether it's possible to do this.
