Marc Stridgen got a reaction from IPCommerceFan in Invision Community 4: Pages databases in Clubs
Content will of course. In terms of layout/theming etc, of course, you would need to visit that once v5 is out to update anything required. But that would apply to any area.
Its based on permissions, so if they have permission yes.
We would then need to an example. I would advise creating a new topic with your issue though, rather than in this topic

Awesome! 🙏 Then this is a kind of bug or handling error. I will post it in technical issues.

I have a member having a similar problem where they're constantly getting logged out. They're using Firefox as well, and they're on Rodgers Internet.
Before are my enabled plugins and applications if you want to see if there's any overlap.
Applications:
- Topic Thumbnails
- Font Awesome 6
- Antispam by Cleantalk
Plugins:
- Delete all system logs button
- Legend News
- Live Topics

Currently, your entire subdomain is protected by login/password. The API can only reach URLs that are public.

I just had the same problem... it turns out my datastore was full. I deleted a few backup files and all is good.

This was solved with the latest patch. You can apply it from your AdminCP.

Yes, so the forum itself will have not had postcounts switched on before it was move I suspect

Marc Stridgen got a reaction from Sonya* in Posts in clubs do not increase post count
You could update that (ensure you backup first). Once you do, you would need to recount though. Bearing in mind it will only count what is currently present
EDIT: Thinking about it, you mention topics over 10 years ago. Something must have moved that forum to clubs. The reason I say this is that clubs didnt exist at that point in time.

As mentioned above, there is an open bug report for this

Marc Stridgen reacted to Matt in Invision Community 5: The story so far...
We have a few more things to announce, but we're just finalising our internal reviews. I want to do a status update on v5 early next week and outline the next steps.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release.

You would add/remove access to this from moderator permissions. So members->Staff->Moderators, and edit the relevant entries there. It would be "Can use sidebar" you are looking for

Marc Stridgen got a reaction from tmcom in Cannot figure out where l need to go to update my credit card details
If you are referring to your card details on file for paying for your renewals here, you update it within our client area, not your site.

I just learned that my host does one every day and that it is accessible via CPanel and the JetBackup tool.
THANKS.

Marc Stridgen reacted to Stuart Silvester in Speed Optimization: Embedded Iframes
The text parser adds our lazy-loading attributes to iframes where necessary. They're not in the templates. The issue fixed was that the text parser was not adding the attributes to YouTube embeds. Not all iframes will be lazy-loaded (the majority are), that's working as intended right now but all iframes will be natively lazy-loaded in v5.

Marc Stridgen reacted to jackflash in Upgrade from 4.2.4 to 4.7.15 Today - Went Flawless and Smooth!
Just a shout out to Team Invision:
We upgraded a site running 4.2.4 (how old is that?) today to the current version of 4.7.15 and it went really smooth. The site has about 20,000 members (not sure how many topics), but the upgrade didn't take long at all. 😍
We have two big sites running 4.3.6, which we're going to upgrade this week too!

Marc Stridgen reacted to Matt in Emoji in seoTitle & (un)Friendly URL | 🔥😅😲💛🤩🤮😊
Guess it sucks if you're Chinese, Japanese, etc? They'll get no URL at all other than the ID. French and other languages that use accents will just have whole letters missing too?
I do not think for one second that Google will punish you for using non ASCII characters. It's all UTF8MB4 so who cares?
Spend more time managing your community and less time worrying about what the URL looks like when you paste it and that investment in time will server you much better.

Marc Stridgen reacted to TracyIsland in Our Picks Not Working
Follow up - all tasks show as never run. I ran the task for promote and sure enough, the our picks populated.
I would guess that the developer disabled the tasks so that the members weren't notified with any testing.
