Simon Woods reacted to Fosters in Project Manager / Bug&Suggestion Tracker - Supporttopic
@kaos00723 I'm really sorry for the bad experience you had with this application.
May I ask how you tried to hide it?
That's not true.
Everybody with proper permissions can manage projects and items. There's a setting called "bot" which is used for the automatic created content.
Thanks for the feedback.
I have never said that the current version would support GitHub. Not sure why one would mention this in the feedback and be disappointed about this.
Have you reported any? I agree. There where unfortunately too many bugs in the recent release, that's why i stepped back and why it takes so long to release 2.2.
That said, 2.2 will fix really many bugs, also the mention design issues will be fixed
I have now an additional developer and there's also another guy, who's going to help us with testing and support, which means that we should be able to provide a much higher quality in the future.
I'll be more then happy to pay you your money back if you're not happy with the product

Simon Woods got a reaction from Wicked007 in iAwards
@Wicked007, you were right in the first place; Adriano is the man to ask for help.
He is maintaining this app in RAW's absence.
@TheJackal84, if you look back in the topic you will see proof of this.

This is perfect for me. I'm buying the app before the end of this week, using it for the next few months on private things whilst building semi-public structures in the process that will be announced alongside my 4.2-based updates.
Thanks!

Simon Woods reacted to Fosters in Project Manager / Bug&Suggestion Tracker - Supporttopic
Exactly.
I'm working side by side on 2 version. I'm planing to release a minor 2.1.X bugfix release this or next week which will address 2 critical bugs and the new features and the importer will be part of 2.2 which will require IPS 4.2

WOW! Looks awesome!
Will 2.2 be released in line with the core 4.2 update?

There are several news articles on my page regarding the progress with version 2.2 which is making great progress.

It was always 10$ the other plugin / widget I made is free as I used most of the code from this plugin for that and it took minutes to write. And this one is a plugin, yeah people can add their own if they want to edit the html and css but then they can do the same with many other plugins here, Its not a small plugin there is many settings in it and a lot of coding so for 10$ I don't think that's bad, And the renewal is for the updates I will make for it, Like now I am already writing the update with what I have read on here, It works so if people are happy with it then they don't need to renew no one is forcing them to renew

Sorry, I missed the replies here. Have you fixed this in the meanwhile?
The importer from the other 3rd party application from ipb3 is finished
Could 2,3 people which are interested into this, send me their 3.x database to test it further?
Done:)
I'm sorry that it took so long, but I had to finish many features in my own app, before I could start working on the converter/importer.
It will be included in the app with the next release

Simon Woods reacted to newbie LAC in (NB40) Pinned Posts
Hello,
Those options depends of topic. In my plugin pin/unpin button depends of post (See plugin settings "Groups (TOPIC OWNER/STARTER)" and "Own posts").
It's a better But I don't want to add additional button. Maybe simple checkbox.

I've been using it for over a year with no problems at all.

Simon Woods reacted to opentype in Pages SuperGrid support
Yeah, that’s not ideal. Your thumbnail will be super small and your large images can get super large in terms of file size.
I prefer something like 600 to 800 as max size for the thumbnail and 1500 to 2000 for the large images. But that depends on what you are doing on your site.
If the thumbnails are too small or the large ones too big, there is a setting to choose which ones to use for the grid view. Of course if both have problems, I can’t help you.
If you change the image settings for the database you would have to upload the image again.
The images are centered and scaled up or down to fill the container in both direction. So you want the aspect ratio of your uploads close to the aspect ratio you set for SuperGrid. So try to set it that way and try to keep all uploads similar. The more you deviate from the default aspect ratio you set, the more will be cut off from the image.

Simon Woods reacted to Adriano Faria in [IPS4] Tutorials
I will provide individual fix for each stuff in the tracker but I really will wait for 4.2. All apps will have some changed to accommodate Clubs, for example, so new version will be 4.2 compatible. Will take a look.

Simon Woods reacted to Ryan H. in Advanced Tags & Prefixes - IPS 4.x
The guy you were replying to had a different problem. The support tool is not fixed, but you don't need to worry about it. It's not important, nothing is actually broken.
Thanks for the help Simon. This is all correct.
I don't really understand your problems, sorry. What version of IPS are you running? If it's 4.1.19.0, that's a known bug; please upgrade to 4.1.19.2.

Simon Woods got a reaction from Fosters in Member Lists Pro
The promised lists:
(Note: the site is built around a RPG, using account groups for characters as well as players)
All Members -- a basic list of every account that represents a person. Authors -- the active players of the game. Staff -- the staff team. There are a quite a few other lists, including a collection that make up a multi-layered roster of all characters in the game. I have done very little work on the settings of each list and have already been happy with them since they were made public a few months ago.
Yet more great work from fosters.
