Stop.  Just stop with your semantics.  You gave bad advice and no amount of wordplay will save you.

These are pretty substantive changes, relative to the other apps. So I'm very thankful that they've done this much already. But I agree there are some larger overhauls that need to be done on one of the most popular apps in the suite.
    Yes please.

Delayed deletes are, at least to me, a more elegant implementation than the forum trashcan.
Delayed Delete's ModCP listing contains all of the benefits of a forum trashcan: central location, delete when you want, one spot, easy to find and search.  But it retains the location of the original post, which means you retain context and meaning and discussion flow.  You don't have those benefits in a forum trashcan.

I think it's a bug.  When you create Profile Completion after members already joined, the Profile Completion doesn't apply to prior members.  It shows as 100% completion even though required fields are missing.
I tested on the 42 diag site.  Check your opentype_tester account.
What does the Profile Completion in your account show? Also, I agree with CP's observation that once you dismiss the completion bar, it permanently hides it (which I think is contrary to the entire point of the completion bar).

I've been monitoring this for a while now, and for our community to move from Collabs to Clubs, here's what we'd need from IPS or another provider:
Support for Pages. Our Collabs write a lot of things that should be "articles," and it's pointless (and burdensome) to just overuse pinned posts for this. Support for Databases. Same thing - our Collabs develop a bunch of different databases for their own content, and rather than create those at the global scope, we'd like to see them moved to the Club scope. More than 3 member levels per Club. We leverage this to set (and advertise) ranks within our Collabs, and having a flatter 3-tier approach will make it harder for us to recognize people who step up and lead within our (very large) community. This also ties in with point 5 below. Conversion from Collabs (obviously). Support for badges. I wrote this for Collabs (see link below) and would be happy to write the same for Clubs - I just haven't looked into what it'll take yet as we're not in a position to leverage Clubs just yet. https://invisionpower.com/files/file/7815-group-collaboration-badges/

I'm working on a plugin to give more power to the club owner on front-end:

1 - You can add a specific or all members from a group as MEMBERS in the club:

2 - You can change the club ownership:

3 - Change the club type:

@Morrigan, I'll try to add this:

    Any other suggestion?

Even though I like the layout and wizard of IPS, the Lithium version is much broader and includes interactive activities such as writing your first post and giving your first like.
Potentially one could create a tour of your website with required / non-required steps for new members.

Their criteria unfortunately doesn't include count items per application, which I agree would give admins much more granular control over unique membergroup promotions.

To help clarify for @Michael R, the first concept one needs to realize is that - technically - Validating is a membergroup.  It is a membergroup with very limited permission, but it is a membergroup nevertheless.
You choose to have your promotion rules only apply to certain membergroups.  In your case, you may want to exclude Validating from being considered from any promotion rule you create.  Just make sure you set each rule that way.  Or, you may want to create promotion rules that specifically only apply for Validating.  It's your choice, but you're given the filtering abilities to choose what membergroups you want to be promoted.

If done correctly, none of these should take effect (since they are promotions) UNTIL one has been validated.  YOU have control over when/how the promotions apply (dependent upon the criteria that IPS gives to use for promotions).
Unless there have been extensive modifications to the core code, those criteria for promotions will probably be limited (at least compared to a few other scripts I use) at first.  Hopefully on down the line those criteria will be expanded to allow more specificity.
I know with XenForo the "awaiting validation" is not a "Group" but an actual account status.  In addition, the script itself - even though the user is in a "registered" state - does not grant the user permissions other than guest have UNTIL they have verified their email account.  There is no "group" for those that are pending validation (awaiting email confirmation) - although you CAN run a promotion for those with a status of "awaiting email verification" as a specific criteria and place them in a group that has restricted/elevated access.  You would then also have a promotion configured so that when their status changed from "awaiting email verification" to "valid" it would remove that secondary group.
With that software it also (the groups) is based upon a "ladder" outlook.  You have your base group that ALL belong to (including the admins/moderators) then you add secondary groups to those to allow more (or sometimes restrictive) privileges.  Those groups can be promoted into/out of based upon a wide variety of criteria. It was an entirely different design paradigm from most scripts and is what gives the most trouble to those coming over to XenForo from any other script since the "attitude" is having one group for each need - with replication of permissions in all of them.  This can be very confusing to new XenForo admins at first, but the more you use it the more you come to appreciate the granularity of control it allows you.

    1. When dismissed, what's the timeframe for the block to reappear?
    2. Is that a block that can be placed into any hot zone / sidebar / removed?
    3. If profile is complete, is there a recognition of some sort? For example: green check mark, notification, Linvision bucks, or the new Starbucks unicorn frappucino? Kidding about the last two.
    4. Integrated into Activity Stream, profile activity, membergroup promotion, ACP commerce account activity?
    - "Joel updated his profile to 50% completion"
    - "Joel completed his profile"
    5. Profile completion % is based off number of steps, and not number of actual fields to fill out?
    6. Has IPS been able to test on live communities to measure whether it's actually improved new member registration or profile completion?

Would be nice to add a check mark when requested details are provided. This way members are motivated to provide those details without needing to make them required.
