I believe you want to ask: will iAwards auto-give awards to members? Yes. As long as you set up rules (eg. Reputation = 10, Reputation = 20, Reputation = 30), then iAwards will automatically give awards.

To expand, only Admins can initially define and create the project in the ACP. However, they will define a Project Leader who will be able to manage the project such as mark issues as resolved, upload new versions, etc.

Nevermind, the prefixes have the coloring. For some reason I was thinking the tags would have coloring too. IPS 4.2 upgrade readjusted my theme.

Move the forums into a private club. Applications Forms will allow you to move members into membergroups with whatever forum access right now, but requires you to create a new membergroups for every clan. I think clubs will require less overhead on you (as admin) since you won't need to create and manage membergroups.

If @Fosters adds club support, then I think that would be a better approach. Create a club for each clan, and allow the clan leader to approve / deny.

Actually, if you're using iAwards then you've already built your criteria using Automation Rules by @Kevin Carwile, correct? If you have those criteria built, then Trophies and Medals will support the same rules. You may need to adjust the medal from iAwards app to Trophies app but the underlying ECA conditions should still be valid.

Once you understand how to build one rule such as "Earn an award if your content count reaches 100" then you'll understand how to build all of your other rules. The sheer amount of events and conditions and actions means you have almost infinite control over triggering actions, but the underlying logic is the same no matter what you want to build.

Bookmarks by Fosters is designed to help communities who are looking for a full-featured method to bookmark topics. You can browse a user's list of bookmarks, there are public vs private bookmarks, it's integrated into the Activity Stream, and there is batch editing of bookmarks with categorization. There's nothing else out there in the IPS Marketplace that fulfills this need, and you'll find a variety of ways in which Bookmarks is deeply integrated into the IPS software, which hopefully helps you understand the great value in this app for its price. Not every app can meet everyone's budget. While I would also like every app on the Marketplace to be cheaper (or even better, to be free!), just because it's a cheap app for you does not mean it's a cheap app for the developer to code, maintain, support, and provide patches and bugs on a variety of different setups and configs.

Be aware that there are TWO products on the IPS Marketplace that are very similar. This is the support topic for Trophies and Medals by @fosters. There is a competing product iAwards that's been abandoned by its original author and recently switched over to new authorship. Trophies and Medals by @fosters has always been stable and supported. Can you verify that this is indeed the version that you've purchased?
