  1. One of the nice things about Trophies and Medals by @fosters is that it doesn't depend upon Automation Rules. There are built-in criteria.
  2. Thank you for update and continued maintenance to v4.1.27

    iAwards

I have nothing against @-RAW- since he was great while he was still actively supporting iAwards, but I think the IPS community will need to look to Trophies and Medals by @fosters for an awards system that's actively supported:

This should be in a review on the product page.
  5. I think I may have to switch over to Trophies and Medals from iAwards since the prior app is no longer supported. Not sure if these are built in, but could you clarify if I could award members for the following conditions based on the app's criteria (and not rely upon Automation Rules by Kevin): When a user upload an avatar When a user fills in his profile About Me When a user post a topic in a certain category When a user uploads a certain amount of images to IP.Gallery Also, are the trophies retroactive or does it trigger when a member reaches that condition?
  6. @Cyboman to expand upon your goals, what you want is a single IP.Pages database with different categories for different kinds of FAQ. You can then change the permissions to read and write articles per category. Everything else @opentype answered.
  7. That makes sense and is good design. BUT I have new quiz. No one play except by me to test, and still did not allow me to change time. Only after I reset games did it allow me. (If I 'test' as quiz creator, that should not prevent me from changing time since no "real" games by other users ...) That looks fine. Maybe the countdown could say "You have 04 minutes and 24 seconds to complete ## questions."
  8. Will send you PM. I am uploading the image.
  9. Hi @Adriano Faria Two problems: 1. I have image uploaded to quiz settings, but image does not appear in quiz listing. See example: 2. How to edit time of quiz after already created? Time option does not show in "Edit Quiz." Suggestions 1. Very minor, but suggestion on wording. Instead of "Delete Games" use "Reset Games" since that means to start fresh again. 2. Change fa-icons on Start Quiz / Give Up to fa-play and fa-stop. I think that makes more sense than fa-thumbs-up. 3. When encounter message "You must not leave the quiz tab/browser window" (change browser window), give link to "Play Again." 4. Is there a better way of displaying progress bar?
  10. I think using the automatic IPS attachment settings will work well, since that's something clients will understand. Category images should probably automatically resized as well to thumbnail size.
  11. @opentype Thanks for offering this into the Marketplace. I'm about to get this up and running in less than 3 minutes; your instructions were very helpful. Note: If anybody is using the application "Advanced Tags & Prefixes" by @Ryan H., you will need to disable the application first in order to save SuperHelp's templates to the database. Then after saving, enable the application. This is a known problem with Advanced Tags & Prefixes. Another Note: This really does work better with a mix of sub-categories and records. The layout is much better. Questions: Category Images. I'm able to get the record image to work on my articles, but not sure where I upload the category image?? I've looked through all tabs of the category settings, and do not see anything. This would be your "Apple Watch" photo or the "2 Mac computers" in your Marketplace listing's screenshot. Suggestions: Customize fa-icon per category. I don't really use steps in my help database, so I've defaulted to the fa-information icon. It can be kind of bland when it's the same fa-icon for every category. Suggestions on wording: In the language for the Plugin settings, I'd like to suggest changes to the language string to make it more clear: Frontpage: Category Title / Description Alignment Frontpage: Subcategory Title / Description Alignment Listing: Category Title / Description Alignment.
  12. Feature suggestion: Export list of tags in XML / TXT format -- I have 71 pages of tags and growing, and eventually I need to be able to clean up some of these tags. Being able to export to an XML and then cutting / filtering the tags in Microsoft Excel so I can provide a master plan for all of the tags would be a huge benefit.
  13. Hi @newbie LAC I wanted to make you aware that, for some reason, Content Ratings is incompatible with the Leaderboard. The content rating DOES increase / decrease a user's reputation, but it's not counting for Leaderboard. I have empty leaderboard since Dec 3 2016. Can you investigate?
  14. Thanks @newbie LAC for the update (especially to hide reputation). Merry Christmas!
  15. Thanks for the update and continued maintenance.

Untranslated language strings from iAwards: Members_pl Members_pl_lc These language strings show up on the Activity Streams
  17. Good point. I thought I discovered this myself a couple of weeks ago but I forgot
  18. @newbie LAC Any way to hide default IPS reputation ("like" button; green "up" red "down" votes) so we can use content ratings instead? Right now, shows BOTH systems. Maybe a custom CSS template change?
  19. Wouldn't this just be a content rating with neutral score? My community is also very 'affirmative' and likes to make things positive, so they're also hesistant about marking anything as negative. With that said, I think the current settings to allow "neutral rating" already accomplishes what you want. Like, Dislike, Agree, Informative, Creative, Funny, Drama Queen, and then some that are unique to my community's content. If you're a photography forum (I'm guessing, since you're asking for fa-camera icon), you can maybe create some fun ratings that are unique to your community such as "Panoramawow " (for great panoramic photos) or "Marcellous Macro" (for close-up macro photos) or "In the Moment" (for action photos). Etc etc.
  20. Can I ask, any reason why we can't use a regular editor when writing questions? This way we can position / align image anywhere. But thank you for allowing images in questions. That's a big one for me.
  21. Congrats on new release to v1.0.1! (This was a big release with import / export)
