I would have thought that if that was the case, that the developer would have told us.
I'm sure nobody could be happy with all these customers who have invested money in this previously, simply to hang around waiting expectantly – and with vague promises and no news.

It's been like two weeks since the developer said he had submitted the update to IPS. I've not received any notification. Does it take so long?
I've received notifications of a few other plugins and it took like 3-4 days. This one has already taken 2 weeks as of today 
 

Thanks for this, but how do I use this?  Is this something I'd look up in the language settings?

I've been experimenting with adding physical objects to the Store, and notice that whenever I add the physical dimensions of an object (height/width/weight) I can choose cm over in., kg over lb, etc., but when products display in the website store they are always displayed using Imperial measurements.  Moreover, if I return to the product in the AdminCP the suite has reverted my data back to Imperial in the product edit screen. 😶
I can't possibly be the first one to notice this, so I was wondering if this is going to be fixed at some point as a nod to those of us who have embraced the Metric system? 😄

Thanks to everyone for their responses!  It was lurking in the back of my mind that it might have to do with the language pack, which is a bit surprising, but copying my default language and changing the locale to Australia did the trick, so thanks for that. 🙂
However, this has led to another wrinkle.  In the Store on my test site, prices were previously listed correctly in AUD, e.g., "AUD 35".  Now, however, with the Aus-locale language set as default, the same price displays as "A$35" when I expected something more like "AUD $35."  My default currency is also clearly specified as AUD.  Is this a bug or a feature? 😉

All the things come from the set locale. You'll want to pick (or create) a locale that matches what you want. LC_MONETARY is what controls the output of currency related things.

@TheJackal84 - Any update for 4.5? Did the new update get approved by IPB?

This got us when we first began testing IPS. You may need to install/enable the locale on your server to make it available within ACP.
Debian specific instructions, but look at https://wiki.debian.org/Locale and use your google fu + distro of your choosing to get where you need to be.

It would be the locale defined by your language pack. Edit your language pack in the AdminCP and make sure it is set correctly. The default is English (United States) whereas you likely want English (Australia) instead.

What locale are you using? If you are using a locale that defines USD as the currency, inches will be used, otherwise centimeters should be used.

If its a huge quantity being purchased then I'd suggest a ticket first to see what the situation is , say for instance you wanted like 50+ licences etc I'd fire off a ticket first 🙂
I could not (I only did a cursory search) find anything immediately relevant for "bulk" , "multiple" or "volume" purchases (that would be relevant) however there is absolutely -nothing- to lose by asking even if its like your 3rd etc etc.
I could just about remember what the situation was but I don't want to post that as 1. I don't have the authority really and 2. It may of changed so I'd not want to give inaccurate information.
 
If I was you I'd just open a quick ticket and ask 🙂

Thank you. I think that all people really want is some regular communication. That would make people feel calmer and give them more confidence

Real life got in the way I have had a rough couple of months and been trying my best to get through it all, I have just updated it so it just needs to be approved by IPS, sorry for the delays I should be back properly here soon if all goes well. but for now I can just do what I can when I can, Sorry again 😀

Yes, he should.  That said, all I have to add is that while we haven't heard from @TheJackal84 in a little while, he does have a rep for being one of the more reliable developers.  I have never had issues with him, so while I do think this app should have been updated some time ago I want to see what happens.
