Now that I've been using this a few days, I think the filtering needs to be more flexible.  For instance, I'd like to be able to mix and match the following:
One or more Item Types (in my case, these are Bug, Suggestion, or Theme Issue) One or more Priorities (High, Medium, Low, for instance) One or more Statuses (Open, In Progress, Declined, Complete, as examples) Items Assigned to [choose a user, default to me] Items Created by [choose a user, default to me] This would be considerably more flexible than what's available now, where you can only choose from one item type or "Only Open Items", "Open Items assigned to me", "Created by me", and "Open items created by me".  I'd also like to set defaults for the filtering, so I can hide "Completed" items by default so they don't get in the way of stuff I need to do, but I and others can still take a look at items that have been closed to get a history of what's been completed, declined, marked as a duplicate, etc.
I ran into this as I wanted look at any Open "Bugs" with a High or Medium priority, sorted in by highest priority first.
It seems that you should be able to select one or more statuses you wish to view, and be able to do the same with Priority.  So I could see just "High" and "Medium" priority items with a status that isn't "Closed" or "Finished".  While also being able to filter on items assigned to me and/or created by me.  Right now you only get to choose from
    Thanks for your consideration,

I love them! In fact, I'm the bloody bastard that told @CodingJungle to add them in the first place.  It helps me be notified when when tricky members try to create duplicate accounts.  But it's acting as it's designed.
If your mods won't want these notifications, then instruct them to adjust their notification settings.
@CodingJungle might also have an SQL query that you can run.

I've purchased this, installed it on my forum, created a few projects and entered a whole slew of issues.  At this point I'm only using it to track issues with my website (the main website which contains a large games database, the forums, and online store).  But I will open this up to homebrew game developer as well so they can use it for project management and bug tracking.
I have a few suggestions after using it for the past hour:
When creating a new issue, add a "Save and Reload" button, and change the "Save" button to go back to the issues list.  This will make it easier to add a bunch of issues all at once. When creating a new issue, add drop-down for Status so you can immediately set the status to something other than "Open".  Default to "Open", of course. When viewing an issue, please add "Status" drop-down so you can easily change the status without having to click on "Change Details". For the Issues list, I'd much prefer if the Status and Priority were separate columns so they were all lined up nicely.  It's a bit cluttered at the moment.  With these sitting underneath the Type and Title. Make display of project cover photo optional?  Either globally for the entire app or on a per-project basis.  I don't see any way to disable this now.  If you don't have a project photo selected, you just get a bit, empty, dark box. Would really like the ability to link directly to a project category and only display the projects inside that category.  For instance, I have a category for issues related to my website, and within that category are three projects (Main Site, Forums, Store).  I want to link to this category from within the forum, and I don't want the other project categories to be visible in this case. That's all for now.  I understand you are working on a version 3.0 of this application.  Just curious how that's coming along and what features you plan on adding to it?
    Thanks,
     ..Al

    I'm very interested in this.
Is there a way to set a limit to how many topics can be pinned in each forum section automatically?  Let's say I only want 5 topics pinned at a time in Forum A and there's already 5 topics pinned.  If someone attempts to purchase a pin in Forum A, the options will be grayed out.  Is this doable?

    @Adriano Faria Great plugin!
Feature request:  would it be possible to also add a "Delete" as an option (in addition or instead of "Ban")?
At our forum (99nicu.org), we delete registrations from people who are not eligible for a membership (instead of banning).  So with your plugin (just purchased it 🙂 ) we still need to log in to the AdminCP and delete registrations we banned at the front-end. As our idea with this plugin is to reduce the need to log in to AdminCP, it would be great to be able to Delete directly at the front-end.

I'd also find this a useful tool to help combat those who cannot conduct themselves in a civilized manner on my forum.  Yes, you can ban people outright, but oftentimes they will create more accounts to try and bypass the ban.  While some people will realize they are shadow banned, not all would, and if a troll feels they are ignored, they may move onto greener pastures.
If you have such a plug-in made, I'd be glad to help contribute to the cost.  Otherwise I'll probably write this myself once I get familiar with developing for 4.x.

I don't all find it repulsive. I think that it's capable of being cruel and I use it very rarely but there are some times when we have absolutely no option at all. Unfortunately we sometimes have to deal with people who are simply out to hurt us and also to hurt the site team. My first priority will always be the site team and all the decent people who come to our forum for help and not the people who come onto the forum to abuse them or to stir up trouble.

I think it's a great facility and if it is not available now then I shall get a plug-in made.

Thanks, but if they require approval – aren't they informed of this?

The beauty about a global ignore is that the troublemaker keeps on visiting the forum, posts, never gets any responses but never realises why. As I said earlier it's rather cruel that in the past we have found it hugely useful.

If they realise that they are on moderation or something then they simply start going and coming back under a different ID.

Is there any way that the site team can place a troublesome member – it keeps on coming back under new registrations if they are banned – on a global ignore list.

Although it seems rather cruel, with our vBulletin site we found that sometimes it was the only way to deal with these people because they might go for months trying to make trouble but not realising that nobody could see their messages.

    Thanks

Yeah, I plan on doing some reorganization of my forums when I move to 4.x, and not being able to mass move topics between forums is going to be a big headache.  Or anytime when I create a new forum and want to populate the new forum with the result of a search (something I've done many times in the past).

This is an important feature for my site as well, as I regularly need to look through someone's posting history without having to enter a specific tag or keyword.

Members' histories are very important for my site, too. Here's something else you should consider: 4.x does not permit download of personal message threads. No way to preserve that content offline at all.

This function was present, and useful, in IPB 3.x. It has been removed in 4.x.

Is it possible to upgrade the app to work with the PHP mail system or SMTP mail of the website server or does it need special info that rely on third party services?
For me it's important because email costs are rising and I would like to send some bulk mailing by my own server.
And for that, would be great to have the features of Mail Bouncer, mainly not to send email for users that mark the email as spam or for those which mail boxes are rejecting emails.
I guess that xenforo bulk mail has these features even for PHP mail, but I am not sure.

Mandrill responded and stated, "It looks like your question may be answered in our Knowledge Base. Please take a look at the following article for more information, and let us know if you have any additional questions."  Seriously?  I sent a detailed report describing what was happening and ways I tested it, and you send me a generic response stating to look in the knowledge base (which I had done before, and is not terribly helpful)?  Thanks.

I will certainly purchase this when I upgrade my forum to 4.x.  Does anything like this exist for IP.Board 3.4.x?
    Thanks!
