Square Wheels got a reaction from Mark Round in What's New in Gallery?
Is this for both types of customer?

Square Wheels got a reaction from LiquidFractal in Introducing The Alert System
I didn't read through the whole thing, but I do want to say thank you for making it clear as to who this will be available for.

Excellent, thank you!

Square Wheels reacted to Matt in New feature! A friendly reminder before posting
I just submitted a fix for April's release which should allow single quotes, etc in words and phrases.

Does it work for phrases?
I added Let's go Brandon to be blocked, but it let me post it. Yes, I'm an admin, but I cannot bypass the word filter.

Square Wheels got a reaction from sobrenome in What's new in 4.6.0?
I understand people who have a positive experience upgrading may not post their experience, but it sounds like many releases have come out to fix issues and people still post more issues each new release brings.
I have three sites I have been waiting on upgrading hoping these concerning posts will go away.
Is the current release stable?

Just upgraded to latest release and all went well.

Square Wheels got a reaction from Millipede in 4.5: Notification Improvements
OK, just got a few more, they are really making me angry at this point.
Let's say I visit a site regularly and I post a question, someone answers it and I only get half of the response in the email.
Now I'm frustrated and don't even want to visit the site.
I am very happy this is an option and not required.
Replying by email would have been a great addition.

Square Wheels got a reaction from Millipede in 4.5: Notification Improvements
I just got my first truncated email from here. I agree with what the intent was, to lure me to the site, but it actually made me frustrated.
I won't use that feature.

Looks nice, but I'm completely satisfied with the current ACP theme. 🙂

Square Wheels reacted to Charles in 4.5: Zapier Brings Integration with Over 2,000 Web Apps
It's not as bad as it seems. You're only charged if Zapier does something for you. Example that we use:
We use Github internally for software development. If something is being added to the software that any of our staff thinks will need extra testing in beta, they add a special beta-test label in Github.
Every single action we do to Github is sent to Zapier for processing. We have rules in the Zapier Zaps that look for our beta-test label. Only if it's seen does an action happen.
So in this case, Zapier might analyze 100 things we do in Github a day but may only take action on one of them (one we labeled beta-test). It's that one we get charged for.
Also, the amount of really cool things you can do with Zapier makes it worth it. I'm not a programmer and I have really cool workflows in place that help bridge all the services we use at IPS to interconnect with our internal site (running Invision Community) so we all know what's going on.

Thank you for considering, it's greatly appreciated.

We updated the ACP to match the front end, but your point is valid, we can add a "remove all email notifications" link.

Square Wheels got a reaction from Derzhis in 4.5: Notification Improvements
Can you please add an Expand / Open all button? While it may be prettier, it will be a lot more clicking to do the same thing now.

Square Wheels got a reaction from Matt in 4.5: Search Insights
Will there be a search cloud option to put on the homepage?

Square Wheels reacted to Matt in Les Paul, or Gibson SG?
It's fascinating coming back to guitar after so long.
The last time I took it seriously was in the 90s and I had a large Laney amp, 4-5 different pedals, lots of cables and had to learn from tab books.
Now, I have my guitar plugged into my MacBook and use Garageband to use different amp sounds and effects. I also use Ultimate Guitar to learn songs, and I can even mute the guitar parts and play with the backing track.
It's like being in the future!
That's beautiful.

All new features are nothing worth as long as they won't kill facebook, twitter, instagram and os on!

Buy a third of a Chiron. A million isn't what it used to be.

Square Wheels got a reaction from Gauravk in 5 ways to monetize your community
I sell ads to vendors and have a custom solution for displaying them.
I also use Google ads. We could really use some help there from IPS in that we are not supposed to display ads on certain pages, i.e. registration and others. IPS builds in the option to display Google Ads, but does not prevent those from displaying where they should not.
