Will this also work for PM notifications? My members are always replying to the email notification instead of going to the site and replying there.

I will change that. It will check at every page load. If the country is not filled yet, will add the country grabbed via IP.

    Support topic for:
Pages SuperGrid is a set of Pages templates and a complete solution to make your Pages databases (with articles, directories and so on) appealing and engaging.
    What’s needed:
IPS 4.1 in its most recent version with the Pages application A pages databases that uses the stock Record Image field and has images with a sufficient resolution uploaded through that field.
(Technically, the templates also work without images, but it’s an image-centered design and works best when most or all records have images.) Which templates are included:
A beautiful grid-based Front Page template with two records featured at the top — for when your database is set to article mode. A beautiful grid-based Listing template replacing the dull forum listing design — for when you open a category or have a database without categories. A unique Record View template with a large header image — for when you open a specific record. A category listing template – in case you use more than one category.  2 Bonus Features included:
Twitter Card support! Yes, you read that correctly! The SuperGrid record view template adds Twitter Card support to your records. You just have to provide your Twitter handle. Tweets with images have a significantly higher click rate and with Pages SuperGrid any link to an article in your database (which has a record image) will automatically get a beautiful Twitter Card like this:

Block template! Create blocks anywhere on your site – pointing to your database – and make them as beautiful as the database itself. A block template with options is included in the package.

I will release 5.0.2 probably during the weekend but yet without Commerce integration... still untested as it should.
    New features:
Type of Content field: Admin will be able to choose between Editor WYSIWYG or a Textarea (plain text). This is to avoid user from posting links, images, etc. Minimum title length Maximum title length Minimum description length Store unique hit per member: If enabled, only one hit will be stored for the member, regardless how many times the user hit the link. Display number of links in subcategories on index Display latest link from subcategories when you're browing a category It's missing two points to work.

Validation or approval? I don't want an email to go to the user until I manually approve the account.

Something to note is, you can go to Gallery, upload an image, return to the forum, compose a post, and select "Insert other media" and select the Gallery image you just uploaded.
So the idea of integration is there, it is just awkward and takes way too many steps to accomplish, and I don't know any site users that do that. So basically what we are suggesting is, make this possible in reverse, and cut down on those steps, and make what is already possible in 5 steps possible in 1 step, from the other apps.

Would be nice to close the gap.
Members use attachments for posts and Gallery for images usually not associated with written content. Why not tie them all together? Some of the best images are on the forum in topics, or in status updates, or in...
    Say...
A member uploads images using attachments. If a member has Gallery, these images are stored (or viewed/mirrored) in a special "Apps" album, or even the name of the app it was uploaded to; "Status Updates" album. The image notes where it is attached with a link so the member can check the content out, like "chevy_impala77.jpg is attached to: These are my rides topic." (Notice the cross promotion of apps and content. Possibly even a blurb.) Since these are post attachments they are protected from deletion on the Gallery side, to avoid mistake deletions in posts. When a member goes to Gallery to browse a user's images, now they are all in one place, and they can browse these albums. You could also allow these images to move album to album (or be able to create sub-albums within) as long as they carried the delete protection and attachment info (link), but if you saw a bunch of "Chevy" images in your "Forums" album, you could move them to a Chevy album. Possibly even have a gallery album selector in the editor for attachments so when posting you select where the images go. So to the default app album or one you select. Album creation would not be good here but being able to select an album would be great as well. Similar to Facebook. You upload directly to the timeline with a status and image or with an image to an album, but you don't have to scroll the timeline to see a user's timeline images, you can go directly to the Timeline Photos album in Photos, where all the albums are. In FB you can also move a timeline album image to another album and the post is not disrupted. Exactly what I posted above. Would be nice!
If the disconnect is because Gallery is a paid app and not core, the solution for IPS could be, the app albums are simply storage folders created in the backend same as is done now. If a user buys Gallery those folders are simply visible in Gallery as albums, through making them Gallery albums or mapping or however they would do that, but the functionality would be within core.
But yes, would love to see integration, there's too much of a disconnect here.
    Thanks!

Yep working on this, new version expected in the next several days.
That should already be the case but some changes in 4.1.7 may have changed this. The new version will correct this so that the welcome email is sent only on validation.

We have some cool ideas for the AS that we think should solve most of your concerns, including those mentioned here. On the fly filtering may be one thing. We're not going to do pagination (as in navigate to page 4) as it just doesn't fit technically into the backend of the content discovery module.... but, we are working on navigation and you will be able to click a topic in the stream, hit back and pick up where you left off. I get the sense that's what most want with "pagination" so we'll start there.
That's not months out by any means and should be relatively soon. Virtually any example given regarding "it doesn't do what VNC did" has been successfully refuted. It is every bit as powerful as VNC and then some - I think there's just general confusion on how to use it to its full potential and we need to make a few improvements to make it more intuitive.
Thanks for the tangible, bullet list feedback - it's very helpful.

    Hi @Michael R,
It does count down in minutes and seconds as long as the time is less then months and days. Once I renew my licence with IPS I'll add an option to always show the minutes and seconds.
