You guys are definitely not playing around with 4.2

I must say, IPS really is taking the lead as a forum software to integrating it with the main social media platforms out there. 
Two remarks:
1) instagram. I hear they do not have an posting API, that is unfortunate, but as soon as that becomes available, if ever, that would be my number one request.
2) is it possible to have replies on Facebook/twitter posted back into the topic?

We have been promoting specific articles and posts to our Social platforms for years now. This will save 40-50 hours a month for us! Thank you!

Fantastic Feature! Now i use buffer.com for this but i don't have to.   I suggest adding google+

I knew there would be new developments in 4.2, but I never anticipated that something like this would come about which fits so precisely - PRECISELY with what I have wanted for tutoring clients - spaces which constellate all the other apps and that can be custom-tailored for my clients with complete control over visibility and privacy.
Obviously the product of a lot of work and consideration, and I am truly looking forward to using this on my site.  Awesome!

Ok. with the introduction of Clubs is time to come back to IPS. Renewing...

This is an amazing new feature - people who complain about losing their community engagement to the likes of Farcebook and Reddit now have a potentially powerful new tool to re engage their users.

We are posting a blog entry practically every day. Just because we haven't posted about a certain are yet does not mean it has not been touched.

We've still got some great stuff to announce, but Clubs is definitely my favourite 4.2 feature - glad you like it too

Well, you've literally created a monster with Clubs... I can tell you right now that there will be implementations that will definitely require clusters - I know this, because what I intend to do with Clubs will absolutely require clusters!
Maybe pins can be the default, but clusters can be an option in the ACP? Pretty please?
I can think of many more implementations off the top of my head that could benefit from clusters as well... think outside the box of what clubs is capable of
Was so excited about this that I told my wife about it over dinner last night! lol

You can indeed assume this, your assumption would also be correct!

I have no idea, but judging by the responses here, most people would like to set up micro communities on their site.

So excited about this! 
Please let it be an announcement about member awards/badges/trophies tied into Profiles and the Leaderboard.

Can I assume we can disable locations on clubs? As that is something I don't want my users to be able to use.

We debated this, but the current implementation is just pins. For this, and a few other things related to the map (like how to choose what displays by default) we thought we'd wait to hear what feedback we get from you in the beta, once people get a feel for how they'll use Clubs 
Yes, Club Leaders can ban a member from the club which will remove them and they will not be able to rejoin.
The homepage is a feed of all activity in the club including topics, gallery images, etc (including content from third party apps if they add support). It will also show when people have joined the club. We haven't done status updates.
