I think that there may be something wrong with my forum. My sidebar is not updating the post count and the gallery photo sidebar is not updating as well. The only way to get the post count to update is to clear the chance. However, when I clear the cache the photo disappears from the sidebar. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on?

The widgets are cached based on the time you have setup in ACP. The default is 5 minutes, but the update delay will be bigger if you've increased the caching time.

You can check the setting in ACP > System > Advanced Configuration > Server Environment TAB > Cache sidebar, header and footer blocks.

The photo disappearing, I'm not sure. 🤨

Something is wrong with the website. I set the cache to 1 minute and it is still not updating. And the picture disappears when you visit the website unless you reload the website. And then once you make a post the picture disappears again.

Are you using the recent version? Does it also happen in the default IPS theme?  There was an issue with google chrome not showing the image in the gallery widget but this was resolved.

I am using the latest version and Chrome, I am also using the IPSFOCUS Brave Theme. I did check the default skin and it's doing the same thing. But it works on Firefox, Is there a setting in the control panel that I can check?

My colleague is referring to the latest release of our software, not the browser.

I am using the latest version of the fourm software. I moved it to a new server and I wondering if a setting is messed up or did a file corrupt? I checked the control panel and there are no warnings.

You may experience data loss when moving to the new server.
I would try - change from left to right sidebar (or vice versa) from custom theme settings.
Then clear the cache of the site.

I tried what you said and it's doing the same thing. If anyone else has any ideas I would be most grateful. I want to get this fixed.

Could you share a link to your site?

We would need to look further into this for you, however the access details on file appear to be incorrect or missing. Could you please update these details by visiting your client area, selecting the relevant purchase, then clicking "Review/Update Access Information" under the "Stored Access Information" section.

We look forward to further assisting you.
