Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Yesterday at 02:04 PM
Adriano Faria Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 I don't follow this user, neither that forum, so why did I receive this notification? 🤷🏻♂️
Marc Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 I have tagged our devs on this to see if they can advise. Adriano Faria and SeNioR- 1 1
Adriano Faria Posted January 27, 2023 Author Posted January 27, 2023 One more now: I don’t follow the user neither the forum:
Gary Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 Hi @Adriano Faria, Thanks for letting us know it has happened again. As Marc mentioned, we have tagged the devs to look into it, but I will make another note on your most recent notification.
Afrodude Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 (edited) Beside this there's another wired thing happened, and I don't know if anyone else noticed it. https://postimg.cc/2bjVtLWv This topic was repeated many times. Edited January 27, 2023 by Afrodude

I did notice it and merged them all into the one topic. I don't think this is an issue with Invision Community, but perhaps that person posting and/or refreshing one or five too many times. 😛 Afrodude 1

I was posting the topic and clicked SUBMIT button - then your page reported something went wrong error but I continued to click BACK/SUBMIT - still got same error. I even was not aware all topics were posted. You may want to report to developers for review of the logs, as I believe that multi-posting (in case of some error) should be prevented on code-level. Afrodude Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 @Gary if you have access to the ACP, it is worth seeing the errors @PatrickRQ saw more than once or if not, mention it to the dev team to look at it. It could be a bug. PatrickRQ 1

Management Matt Posted January 27, 2023 Management Posted January 27, 2023 13 hours ago, Adriano Faria said: One more now: I don’t follow the user neither the forum: This topic was posted in here which triggered the notification, then moved to the Set Up forum. As the notification data is gathered when you view it, it's just pulling in the forum name from its destination forum, not the forum it was posted in. I can see the confusion however. abobader, Adriano Faria and SeNioR- 1 2

Thanks for clarifying and informing us of what you did for this error to occur. The dev team have been tagged in this topic and they will take a closer look.
