Oprime Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Future features:member receiving like, receives X points.member who gave the like, loses X points.obviously if the member has no points he will not be able to like. LinkMania 1

Wouldn't that just persuade users into being unwilling to use the like button?
Oprime Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 7 minutes ago, Koby said: Wouldn't that just persuade users into being unwilling to use the like button? no, in my forum I use the videobox and it has the capability to show X fields only after the Member like. and the way that I quoted above, I would use the points as currency, if the Member has no points he can't give like and view the content for subscribers.

Some things I'll be looking at is donating to each member, exchanging points for money or permission for certain forums/topics or profile actions. 3 hours ago, Oprime said: Future features:member receiving like, receives X points.member who gave the like, loses X points.obviously if the member has no points he will not be able to like. EmpireKicking Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 can it be more added like how phpBB Forum has? Points can be used for money, like Graphic Marketplace, use your points to buy Graphic work, use points to by posts and topics, use points for Forum Cash Exchanges
icedream Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Vote for the points system. Feature request, actually most of them are something I have from other software: Limit points per period. A global page listing what activity to add points and what activity to delete points. Set group promotion when people reach x point. Global points ranking list, and each member can decide if they want to show themselves in the list. For each post, if the points are manually added by members, display a points history. Integrate with Commerce, like how many points per order and per dollars, ex: if customer pay $10, they will get additional 1 points. Integrate with Downloads, like how many points per upload/downloads/bandwith. Integrate with attachment system, like how many points per upload/downloads. Cyboman 1
RSAC Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 I just activated the mod on my forums but the points only appear to show up in the user profile section and not under the username itself while making posts on forums?

tekguru Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 For me the features should include: Be able to rename the points, i.e. 'beer' Be able to buy points via PayPal, e.g one point = £3.00 Able to give points to other users KevinGrand, Michael.J, ResPecT My Authoritah and 1 other 4
Square Wheels Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 I think this is a fun idea, but it looks confusing with Reputation being above it and formatted the same. What's the difference between this and Reputation?
xtech Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 I think a fantastic thing would be to allow users to redeem their points for "prizes", which could be another user group for X time, or demand a admin-input set of prizes. (Ex: community tshirt, discount coupon, etc). After redeeming the points, they would be deducted the total points they have. That would keep users "willing to participate". But i like the idea behind this app and has the potential to be the top #1 app in the marketplace. I'll install it after Christmas. ResPecT My Authoritah 1

jair101 Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Quick Suggestions: - to convert points in cash value through Commerce vouchers. - to be able to transfer points between members Joey_M 1
Joey_M Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 Being able to purchase points would give this a good amount of flexibility, I have an idea that would make use of this system but Mike's already working on so much it seems - I don't want to hassle him. Will raise it at a later date.
good_live Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 (edited) I would like the ability to autopromote Users that reached X points. Edited December 25, 2015 by good_live

Izaya Orihara Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Thank Goodness there is a Credits/points add-on for IPb4 2016 is definitely starting right. I haven't read every single post so I apologize if I repeat any suggestion that has been made. I will still be buying this add-on however it would be awesome to have many of the same features found in the older versions of Ibeconomy and Icredits from ipb3.4 Such as Lotteries Raffles Credit System(Allowing users to get credit cards) Checking/Savings Welfare As well as an overall store for customizable items and actions @Mike John
