Good morning all, We just had to fire someone from our staff and removed his account from our database. We chose the option to have ALL of the articles he had created to be shown as authored by GUEST. Is there a way we can assign all those authored by GUEST articles to show as authored by a member we specify? Thanks in advance!

Is there a way to disable / hide the renewal options on the file upload form in the Downloads app? My site is not using renewals as all files are just a one-off payment so there’s no need for this cluttering the upload form. I see no settings to disable this in the Admin controls thanks

Hi, when importing a ~2mb xml language file, my webserver responds after ~2min with a "Gateway Timeout". As a result the language is not 100% imported, only parts of it. I'm running nginx php7.4 fpm and played with the following settings: request_terminate_timeout = 120s php_admin_value[max_execution_time] = 120 It doesnt seem to matter what I enter there, it always fails around the same time. Any idea what it could be?

I tried to use the live editor of the themes present in the admin panel, but I can't select correctly the various checkboxes. As you can see if with the selector I choose the radio button of this page, the colors that are shown to me are not those associated with the button I want to change. Can someone tell me under which category I find the internal color of the various checkboxes? Currently the background color is set to white, and it's not possible to understand if a checkbox is selected or not.

If we were selling tickets through our site, at only 1 per member, what ideas do you have for grouping those people. Tickets will be distributed via Ticketmaster, so we can export the data and sort in an excel sheet. The question is what is the best way to get that field populated that we sort on? Let them decide and it is up to them to enter correctly in a text field? Any other ideas?

Hi all, First and foremost, I hope this is the right spot to post this question. Currently I am a self-hosted expired license holder of a IPS Community Suite with the forums. Looking at renewing the license and see the renewal spot that shows "1 x Renew: IPS Community Suite" and it comes out to $100 for the 6-month renewal. However, when I go to the main site (outside of Client Area) and look at a new license cost I see that the Suite Core is listed as $100 with Free renewals and adding the forums brings it to $250 with $40 6-month renewals. Why would the cost of my Client Area renewal be $100 while a new license renewal would be $40? Asking because if it's a new ren…

I added emoji for fun to the staff forums some time ago, but since we upgraded to 4.6.8 the emojis no longer look right. The Thread Cemetery (our replacement for the old IPB trashbin) icon actually looks okay, the only difference is that it is greyscale I think? They look fine in the ACP.

I am not sure what to tell them they are using Safari doesn't look like they have any extensions loaded. I only have google analytics running. When I inspected my page I seen the same warnings about deprecated jQuery same as here. I did see this error, not sure where that is coming from.

Hi, Is there a possibility to change icon forums( ips v.4.54), the default one (I think is a rendered icon from font fontawesome-webfont) with my own one , but with one step modification. I know I can upload my own icon image, but sadly I have to change it for each of my forums and I have lots of them and subforums.Imagine to do that for all of them ,manually, very time consuming. If there was an image/icon file default for forum It was simply all I had to do overwritting that file wih my own, but I think it is rendered from the font.

Hi community, I was wondering if it is possible to extend the page settings with custom fields. How would I do that by implementing my own plugin? Why am I asking this? We have various kinds of pages in our future community. And depending on the type of a page I want to display different things in the header bar. So, what would be the best way to extend the page settings with a custom field? I could use the meta fields, but that seems a bit dirty to me. I am looking forward to read about your ideas. Best, Ben

Hi, not sure if anybody can advise, but I noticed that the Friendly URLs for the clubs section weren't working, so I ran the support troubleshooter and then suddenly none of the Friendly URLs for the clubs, forum (aside from the main forum index), calendar, or profiles sections of the suite are working. The Friendly URLs for Pages databases (Pages is the default app) are working fine. I have checked my .htaccess and even tried resetting it with a clean copy with only the IPS rules, and I have also tried disabling Friendly URLs and checking in the advance configuration to make sure that the Friendly URLs and Real URLs correspond to the right things.
