    Anonymous is not very anonymous

    Hello we have the latest 4.7.13 version PHP 8.1.20 and MariaDB 10.11 In Pages we enabled anonymous posting. In records directly we see anonymous author, that is right But in topic listing is not very anonymous and on index at all This is not issue with template, this bug has appeared since you gave this feature to Invision. Since this board has been upgraded through lot of versions with reseted templates but nothing helped. The same issue appeared under PHP 8.0 and MariaDB 10.6. Do you need any more info?

    Migrated to New Server - conf_global Correct, but Can't Connect to DB/500 Errors

    I migrated my site to a new server. This includes a Drupal site and the Invision boards. They're on the same server, in the same domain, and leveraging the same DB. While Drupal is running fine, Invision won't load any pages I've tried, giving me a 500 and displaying "no such file or directory". Looking in the logs I found this...     I need your help, please. After updating to Invision Community Version 4.7.14, I encountered two issues: Some of the source files for Invision Community have been modified. I downloaded the files and uploaded them to my software, but unfortunately, there was no improvement. I also tried reinstalling the software, but the issue persists. The second issue is related to the image path. I moved my app from AWS to another server over a year ago, and the website has been working without any problems. I want to create advertising packages to sell them in the store, but I can't select the product type 'Advertisement' in the product configuration.     Achievements re-indexing issue

    We recently re-indexed the achievements for our forum. The results are 99.9 per cent correct, however we have found some unexplained anomalies. 1 point is awarded for each topic or post, so we would expect to see a member's total achievement points to be very similar to a member's post count. In nearly all cases this is correct. However, with the anomalies we have a few members whose total achievement points that are tens of thousands of points less than their post count.     Replying to statuses in profiles hangs

    I have been meaning to report this bug for a while, as I think it's an overlook due to the feature being phased out. However, when you read statuses in a user profile and then choose to reply. It hangs on 'Saving.....' The message is successfully posted, but it doesn't show until you refresh. As I say, it just hangs.

    Just "upgraded" a license to the Classic version and wanted to ask support some questions and see this: Then I check the pricing, find the well-hidden self-hosted option and see this: So... how do you get help if something doesn't work? Or if you want to find out if a feature can be improved? I'm talking about support from the people who make this software and you pay $199/year to.

    Upgrade 3.1.4->4.7.14, error loop on upg_33000

    Hello everyone, I was able to fix some other errors during the upgrade process but this one seems to be completely stuck. Server has Apache 2.4.58, PHP 8.2.12, MySQL 8.0.35. ips4.php checks are all green aside from no GMP extension (which is optional). When logging back in at /admin/upgrade the following shows: When Continuing the upgrade it has this error here. Clicking Retry/Continue both have the same error come back up I tried dropping the table ibf_members_warn_actions, and this error shows.     Any ideas why I would get a Site offline notice 2x. I have a custom page im working on its only there 1x but everything else its 2x. Default theme, latest version... Its not really a big deal but we are working on a bunch of things so we will be offline for a bit while we work. thanks

    Hi, Spam is rampant on my self-hosted forums, upgraded to latest IPB (4.7.14). Worst of all, my users are getting spam emails and want to delete their accounts, because they turned on "new topic email notification". I'm using Invisible reCAPTCHA, and Spam defense (screenshot attached). I also use a custom Question and Answer, is there a way to see what these spambots have replied to my question? I can't seem to find it when I go to their profile... And my main question is — can I do anything else to stop the spam that's destroying my community? :( Thanks!

    Some database problems

    Hi! We have some database problems, but we don't really know what they are. Our forum was moved to a new server a couple of weeks ago, that's when it came up. But we have not experienced any errors in the functioning of the forum itself. For a while we were experiencing "An error occurred (500 Error)", but that seems to have been resolved by the server provider support. Although it sometimes still appears, this may be related to a database error. "Fix this" does not fix it. I've attached a doc file of what we get when we press "Fix it", but it doesn't tell us much.     Hi all, I'm new with IPB, I'm taking over an old forum running on IPB 4.2.5 version. I purchased a licence to get the forum an do the migration to the latest stable version on a new VPS. I follow "How To" to moving to new server : But, I don't know why, when I try to launch the old IPB version (with the old database, of course) on my new VPS, I have a HTTP Error 500 code.
