Hey, we use bitly for some campaigns and we noticed that the forum links we share using that service have a lower view count on the forum system than the data we are getting from bitly, so, my question is how does that view count work? We thought that maybe cloudflare was caching some content but we have that set as standard caching and all urls with query strings are not cached, another thing could be that anonymous users are not being counted but that is a little crazy. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi everyone, Just wondering how I go about setting up using my webhost's built in mail system to send system emails, and leave bulk emails to be sent via send grid? I can't see any way to do this, as it will not allow me to select multiple sending formats. Suggestions please.

This appears to be an exploit that allows a user to upload zip files to a post despite zip files not allowed. I found one on my site. Making the extension as myfile.zip.jpg If you change the extension back to .zip and extract it contains 2 webp files and an mp4 file. Also file types I don’t allow. I've tried to recreate this but usually I get the message 'There was a problem uploading the file' when uploading a zip disguised as a jpg, which is how it should work. However using his original zip I managed to add an exe file and upload it without problems... It could be to do with webm files, I managed to create a 94mb zip file full of webm files and upload it…

Greetings. I would like to add an additional font to the default theme. Right now, the deafult theme includes 6 fonts: Lato, Open Sans, Roboto, Robot Slap, Montserrat & Merriwheather. I'd like to know if I can manually add another google font in the selection: more precisely Rajdhani Font for H1, H2 and H3. Help appreciated. Thank you.

Hi, I'm looking to open the clubs feature to the audience and I'm having my last minute thoughts, perhaps I should call them groups instead of clubs. Perhaps that term would be more familiar with members who are familiar to Facebook and that's everyone and facebook's concept of what is a group. perhaps the term group would require less explaining what is it father than clubs? What's your take on that?

Some members reported an issue that it opens a porn popup when they accept the cookie usage notice. I can't reproduce this issue. Any idea what this can cause? Is there a known malware doing that things on the devices of my users? If my site is infected where do I need to look, in what file or database tables are the things stored regarding the cookie notice accepting button link? Thanks.

When adding a new event to the calendar and when choosing the country where the event takes place, it shows by default the United Kingdom. Any other country in the world can be selected if required. Is it possible to change the default country and to shorten list of available countries in the dropdown list? I was unable to find any setting for this. Thanks for any pointer!

Hi everyone, Just wondering whether it was possible to have hidden groups, purely for the use of bulk mailing members. Our host doesn't permit the sending of 1500+ bulk emails in one hit. They have a ceiling limit of 150 per hour, or 500 per hour if I opt for an exchange email account. We already have too many groups, but looking for options to streamline our sending. Any suggestions are welcome.

I am struggling to find the correct setting on how to enable the function to rate blogs. Blog ratings are set to enabled in Community > Blog > Settings. When going to Members > Groups > Group "Members" > Tab "Blog" it will not show any additional settings to enable/disable ratings. Using almost the latest IPB Version 4.4.9.1. When viewing a blog, the five stars appear but they are all greyed out...and in the comment section there is no possibility to rate the blog entry. I also logged in as a different member to test it (in case blog owner is not allowed to rate his own blog entry) Appreciate any hint where else I should check my set…

I've started building my site and am new to the system. I had a developer put the page together for me, but now I'm trying to learn the system myself to further customize it. On the main page above my first forum listing but below the title section I want to add a description of the community and its purpose. Hi, We have a group of moderators on our site. Configuration for this group is as below. We also allow people to buy a subscription to become a member of the cooperative society, have access to another folder, increased rep limits, and so on. We used to do this using a product but have moved over to the subscription plans when they were introduced. The Society Membership subscription is configured as below - people are moved into the Supporter group. However, if a moderator buys a membership - which they all do, so they can be a legal member of the society and so on - it removes their moderator status and puts them in the supporte…

Hi everyone, After recently transferring my email delivery system to SendGrid, I've been able to get reports on what email addresses are invalid, and which emails are bouncing back to me. While it comes in very handy, I have noticed that hotmail has blocked receiving of emails from SendGrid. I haven't as yet tested to see whether this is an actual thing, or if it is just blocking things because the addresses don't exist, but I'm curious as to whether anyone else has had issues similar to this.

Hi, I am trying to setup facbook promotion, so i have to link my community account with my facebook account as per : When i click the link, i end up with a "page does not exist" error. I don't see anywhere else to do it, and is there a way to do it if the accounts does not have the same e-mail address ?
