Hello, We've migrated successufiily forums_topics; forum_posts; ...etc from another IPS DB (older version), and everything worked fine, except the searching resulats which are giving random results: - for new topics created on the new ips installation, searching works fine - for old imported topics, searching is totally random, some searchs are working and some are not. We tried to move, the topics, hoping it will force indexing them, but it worked partially. If we edit the title of a topic, then change it back to it's original state, then it works. but as you can imagine, we can't do this manually on every single topic. Could you plea…

Is there a way to have flexibility on where the advertisement is placed in the sidebar? ie. is there a way to apply an advertisement block? that allows it to be at the bottom of my other sidebar blocks? I've added an advertisement below the header, and the side bar location - but's both advertisements side by side... Hope that explains it... Thanks in advance on how others have approached?

Hello, I have a calendar with a number of recurring events. With the current global events (COVID-19) we want to delete specific instances of the events without deleting the entire recurring (past / future) event. Is this possible? I tried to delete a specific instance and it deleted the whole thing.

Hi folks, I have purchased the cloud version in error and now that I've spent a day setting it all up beautifully, I realise my error and am less than 24 hours from launch. Is there any way to transfer this to self-hosted easily? Or do I need to purchase self-hosted, beg for a cloud refund, and set it up again? Thank you so much!!

We have an offroad club that has its own calendar and as per recent plugin of calendar enhancement every mod can manage attendees. While digging the backend for permissions I couldn't find any place from where I can check/change permission for calendar under clubs. Appreciate if someone can guide me in the right direction please. Thanks in advance. Where to find this type of permission tab for above club calendar?

Hello, I recently purchased my Invision site and am about to release it to my members. However, I ran into an issue. We use identifiers which are required to be in your display name, the issue is that only admins can change others' display names and their own display names as well. The members themselves don't have permission to change their own display names. If anyone can help me with this or show me how to enable it, that would be much appreciated. Thank You

Hi I don't want my contributors to be able to come back months later and delete all of their files from the marketplace by using the upload new version edit function. (aka replace files with fake garbage) I tried to use the settings in the ACP but its not working. They can come back later and upload a stupid jpeg and delete their original file. To be honest, I don't really care about uploading more stuff, I just don't want to original stuff deleted. Is there any way to stop that? What am I missing?

Person A buys gift card Person A gives gift card to person B Person B adds full amount of funds to account from gift card. Person B withdrawals full amount of funds Site owner looses money on the whole deal due to fee's associated with processing original purchase payment and processing a payout. Just thought I would share this loophole with others as an FYI.

Is there any way to hide topics older than x days? I recall something similar in version 3.x But I'm not sure. Does someone know if there is a plugin that hide topics ? I've seen a plugin locking them, but not hiding them. Would it be possible to do it with a "saved action" from the ACP ? and included in a task ? Help appreciated. Thank you

We are using a gallery for images upload with a restriction of image pixel size of 1800 x 1200 and uploading at 80% image quality. How can our users upload images without resizing and IPB does the image resizing at back end and only upload in specified dimensions: 1800 x 1200 px? If no existing support exist, im ready to buy/pay for any mods/plugin/custom coding.

I have read somewhere/sometime - that it is possible within the core of IPS, to have content feed on an external website. Like a block on another website. It is/was a JS code we copied over to the external site, and then the code pulled content into a block on the other site. I have searched here and there but can't find any information - anyone knows?

I have linked my account and got the promotion feature working and can promote to my page, however, in the list of groups I can promote too I cannot see any groups that either I or the page are admins of. I have looked at settings for the groups and cant see any settings that would help on that side, any ideas?
