I am primarily interested in having clubs, forums, and pages. If I choose to buy self hosted, do I need to purchase "gallery" and "downloads" in order to have the club features called "files" and "images"? Or are those club features still included if I don't purchase "gallery" and "downloads"? Thanks

I migrated my forum from phpBB to Invision Community 20 days ago. My forum is my full-time job. The income from Ads is how I make a living. I have 130k topics, 800k topics, 400k monthly pageviews. While I absolutely love the Invision software, I am very upset that since the migration, my ad earnings are down by 30%. I am looking for help to pinpoint the issue or issues at play. Here are some symptoms I've noticed since the migration: Google search impressions (and clicks) are down. Number of page views is down. Ad RPM and RPS are slightly down. I'm trying to set up a simple blog. I am the only writer for now and perhaps I'll invite guest writers in the future. Similar to the Blogs on this site: https://invisioncommunity.com/news/ I'm not sure if it's best to do it in Pages or Blogs? I've tried doing it in Blogs however it seems there's one level I don't need in the hierarchy (the possibility to have multiple blogs), and it confuses me? Hello. I signed up for cloud hosting trial with invision. But how do we move data from an invision self-hosted forum to a the trial cloud setup? I don't see any conversion/migration tool included in the trial setup. Also what would be the ideal approach of backing up self-hosted invison community for restoration on the cloud hosted invision? I've written an article in Pages, in the default "Articles" Page, however I can't seem to write any HTML in the WYSWYG so how can I use header tags such as h2 for my article titles? I know I can create HTML pages but I want to use the Articles page with the WYSWYG editor because it has the layout I want (with the author card at the top, comments at the bottom...)

Hi Not used create new member for a while in admin cp. On my forum registration i have required profile fields that members need to complete when creating their account How can i add additional options to the create new member form? is there an option that i have missed? I have a moderator who've allowed to set best answer/solved for questions and he stil doesn't see the "Mark as Solution" link at the bottom of a post like I (the admin) can. We're both looking at the same exact post in the same forum. Here are his permissions:

I have one main forum and several less important forums. Users should almost always post in the main forum. When someone clicks Start New Topic on the home page, a forum selector opens. Is it possible to bypass that forum selector and instead automatically create the topic in the main forum? Thanks!

Hello, When I'm on the forum and receive a new notification, a black banner appears at the bottom of the window. Problem is, I have a footer ad that is covering that part of the window, so the banner is hidden behind the ad. Is it possible to move the banner at the top of the window instead? Or is it possible to change the banner's z-index so it appears on top of the ad rather than behind? Thanks!

Hello, I have quite a few blogs that are updated automatically through RSS. If you do not specify a Featured Photo, the current default is this: Is there a way to change, or set a default "featured photo" for each individual blog? There is already a cover photo for each blog (see below). Ideally, I would like to be able to use each blogs cover photo as the featured photo for each individual blog entry. Thanks!

Recently moved from another forum software to Invision and I love it for the most part. I do however miss the behavior of the bell / Notifications pop-up menu and want to see if there's a way to implement it in my Invision Community board: If I had for example 3 notifications, the bell would have the number 3 and show 3 highlighted notifications in the pop-up menu. If I then clicked one of the notification that took me to a new post or a new private message, or if somehow I read the corresponding post or private message, then that specific notification was no longer highlighted, and the bell would show the number 2 with only 2 notifications highlighted. …
