Hello! I am very happy with my new community here. However, my members want to have push notifications on their phones (like we had on discord). I have had some members tell me that push notifications aren't supported on chrome via phone. How do I fix this?

Ok, so I have much of my stuff set up. I have my main page set up, and I added the components to it that I want members to see when they log in. My struggle-- The "clubs" component, I added it to the page. Behind the scenes, it says "shows a list of your clubs" and you can set the number. But how do I get it to take them to the /clubs page? As it is now, you have to click on a club, then go backwards to see the clubs. I have an application that I need to unify the logins for. There are two options I can think of: 1. Use an external database and create a login method for IPS. I know IPS supports an external OAuth login but this isn't something that I have done befeore. 2. Use IPS's database for accounts (it's really nicely structured) -- and integrate the login with the application. User logs into application -> API call to IPS to verify correct email + password -> login success/failure. The problem with option 2 is that I looked through the REST API documentation and I did not find a method to verify a users' login information. My questions are: Is …

In our forum we often ask members to upload .zip files to share, however when you do so an alert "The application/zip file format(s) are not supported". I suppose that means the forum doens't know how to do a proper embed of that file (which is fine, not a problem), however the file is still uploaded as expected. But some members are feeling this is an error and that their file didn't upload properly (even though it did). Is there a way to get rid of this alert? Thanks!

Dear Invision community Team, I was working on club categories. Unfortunately, i have deleted the club categories plugin. Please let me know how to install club categories plugin and it should show on the applications. now the club categories is not showing on the applications. I am having all the club categories like boot camps, etc are available on the backend but club categories plugin or app is not showing under applications. Please assist me on this.

Dear Invision Community Team, I am facing the problem upgrading the club categories. To upgrade club categories, it is asking for the "tar" file to upload. Please let me know where can we get this "tar" file. Just because of this bootcamps, events, jobs, etc are not opening. Please support me on this and let me know what need to be done.

One customer ask me how he can update his credit card information on the forum side. I could not see a way for him to do it but I could add it under manage in the admin control panel. I s there a way for him to do it on the forum side in the customer settings somewhere? Or, must all this be done on the processor side such as Stripe or Paypal. I could not find any info on how the customer can update it. Hi Keith, I got a new credit card and would like to change what you have on file to this new card. How do I go about doing that? Hello. I choose CMS for the forum. Decided to check your version. So far not the best experience. The process for accessing a free trial is unnecessarily cumbersome and counterintuitive. Emails from invisioncommunity end up in SPAM As a result, I signed up and requested a free trial. I found a link to the created free forum, but it's not clear how to start configuring and managing it. The login to the forum that I created with the login and password from the account in invisioncommunity does not work. What to do?

When I edit a post I see "Edited just now by (me)". I know I'm the only one to see that (or perhaps mods can see it too, not sure), however I'd rather completely remove it and not see it so that I can see the same thing a regular member sees. Is there a setting for this?

I am trying to create a Twitter login for my community. I created an App in Twitter and turned OAuth. When I enter the API Key and Secret in my Invision Community ACP, the ACP saves them. But then when I attempt to sign in with Twitter, it takes me to the Twitter site, then I am redirected to my website where I get the following error: Note that when I enable OAuth in Twitter I also get a Client ID and Client secret however I cannot enter those in my Invision Community ACP (if I try, I get the error below):

I'm not sure if this is one Google maps integration problem with two manifestations, or two different problems. I clearly have something misconfigured with the maps integration. All troubleshooting pointers welcome. Symptom 1 autocomplete— autosuggest not working when adding venue locations. Hi After 5 years without updates, I'm finally getting back on my feet.... 😅 I see a change in the folder architecture, so I'm wondering what I delete and what I keep before sending the new files to the FTP. I guess I need to keep the folders: - /downloads/ - /screenshots/ - /uploads/ - /datastore/ maybe? and the conf_global.php files and the .htaccess ? I don't see the /admin/ folder in the 4.7.2. Is it normal ? Thanks

One of my mods reported a spam comment. I commented on the report and marked it as complete, yet my mod says he wasn't notified about those two actions. Is there a way for him to be notified about it?

Hello. I recently moved an Invision v4.4.10 site to a new server. I rsync'ed the files over, along with a database dump. I loaded the database on the new server and placed the files in the proper directory. The file path is identical on both servers and the database login info is correct. Whwn I try to view the site though, I get the screen below. No errors are logged anywhere I can find, when I try to view the front end of the site.
